India applies for membership of Missile Technology Control Regime that controls missile & space tech

One among here said that india should make it's own cruise missile rather than having joint venture( which they call copying) with Russia then i should remind.
Nirbhay - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which has 300 to 800 kilometre more range than pakistani cruise missile.
I am not here to troll but just don't want anyone should spread lies.
Nirbhay is powered by Saturn TRDD-50MT engine which is Russian,,,

if you have designed a better car than this, please tell us, now forget missile.

But it runs on water so +1 for pakistan. Soon they will invent a 2-stroke motor, after that a jet airliner that runs on water.

i find some comments indicating our Proliferation record etc.
Lets face the facts, During entire cold war period and almost upto early 2000s, US and NATO allies were never interested in dealing with India. Only Russia had co-operation with India and despite all sorts of technology denial, India has reached in a position where even US realizes that any denial is counter-productive.
Can some indicate with factual proof of even a single case of proliferation as far as India is concerned.
Bare in mind N Korea was a signatory of NPT and we know the stellar role it has played not only in N weapons but also missile tech. Being a signatory of an international treaty and honoring it in letter and spirit are two different things.
Also @Hyperion (being a senior member here), When India denounced CTBT and NPT on the basis that it is discriminatory, several nations followed the pact and even Pakistan gave the same logic. Developing a technology is a country's right Treaty or no treaty. A lot of nations made fun of India's space program when it was in its infancy. Today they sulk and have to accept it (it is one of the biggest remote sensing satellite network globally).
The point is every nation has a right and sheer will and determination is bound to take it to its goals. Discriminatory policies in international arena usually have little affects.

The irony.........one of the most blatant proliferators of MTCR, now wants to become a member (and I'm sure deep inside it's already thinking of becoming the chairperson of MTCR and kicking China out :p: ).............. no worries Uncle Amreeka will do it for you guys! :D
From when China become member of MTCR?
