India applies for membership of Missile Technology Control Regime that controls missile & space tech

First .. Is it operational ?

Second: Babur has a range of over 750 KM.. Meanwhile a long ranged naval version is under development ...

Prove your claims of it being powered by a chinese power plant !
What, from where Babur arrived in discussion ?

@kurup Pakistan reverse Engineered US Tomahawk Cruise Missile, later same was passed to China.

Pakistan never reverse engineered Tomahawk nor did China.

Actually China reverse engineered Kh-55, that were smuggled from Ukraine during 98-2000. The China developed the tech. and provided the assembly tech. to Pakistan.

I have read so .

Nirbhay is powered by Saturn TRDD-50MT engine which is Russian,,,
India successfully tests Nirbhay cruise missile - IHS Jane's 360

It is possible that the turbojet engine has been provided by a Russian company: in October 2006 it was announced that Russia had agreed to supply 200 NPO Saturn TRDD-50MT small turbojet engines to India, ostensibly for the Lakshya target drone programme.

My point exactly, treaties such as MTCR, CTBT, NPT and FMCT along with NSG and other such groups are NOTHING but inherently discriminatory...... EVERY nation on the planet has the RIGHT to pursue ANT technology they presume is beneficial to their growth or national interests.....

What I despise is nations, that think that they have the moral high ground to control or regulate ANY such technologies.......

The point is every nation has a right and sheer will and determination is bound to take it to its goals. Discriminatory policies in international arena usually have little affects.

We should not sign this treaty as it will not help much, only 41 countries are member to it.
It will open up chance for legitimate trading with Italy, Canada, Germany, Japan, France & UK for space technologies.

India can already purchase technologies from US for space research

You are wrong again.

MTCR is not a binding treaty or UN approved treaty,,, its only a regime.

BTW, You believe in realpolitik there is any high moral ground? On the other note, there tech., they can do whatever want to do with it. Transfer it or not transfer it, its upto them.

The irony.........one of the most blatant proliferators of MTCR, now wants to become a member (and I'm sure deep inside it's already thinking of becoming the chairperson of MTCR and kicking China out :p: ).............. no worries Uncle Amreeka will do it for you guys! :D

China is not a member of MCTR

Good for them..... neither are we........ excellent, next time you see an SLBM made in China, on a Pakistani sub, better remain silent! :D

They may not be a member but they have agreed to abide by it .

It doesn't matter....... in case of India and Pakistan, the world has learned how to look the other way......... you got a conditional waiver on NSG, we got brand spanking 6 new reactors, all devoid of any IAEA safeguards......... and I'm talking about the most advanced US ones, courtesy China, who have the IP rights over it..........

I can assure you, if you get anything, we can match and one up your acquisition......... and no slack other than a few huffs and puffs from the west will come................

They may not be a member but they have agreed to abide by it .

Then lets see how many SLBMs China is going to give you .

Who gets whole systems 'ready made' nowadays?...... We will get EXACTLY what you got from Russia and West and then labelled your entire space and missile program "indigenous"..........

Then lets see how many SLBMs China is going to give you .
