She not only claim those islands. She already occupied 40 of them and she wants all of all of them, including the Filipino's 9 , China's 7 and Taiwan's lonely 1. Sneakily Vietnam, with her sugar daddies backings, she wants the hegemony of SCS and blaming China to be the aggressor at the same time.

We have managed the islands peacefully from the 15th century, without any dispute. That is reason why a smaller and weaker countries like Vietnam are managing the largest number of Spratly archipelago.
As your opinion, why is a "superpower" China only managing 7 coral reefs of the Spratly archipelago, which it used force to rob from Vietnam in 1988.
Before 1988, where was the "superpower" china in Spratly archipelago?

Let me ask you some. How did Vietnam 'manage' those underwater rocks 600 years ago? Did Vietnam station her troops there or having people lived there. And how can people lived there without water resources.

Don't say your fishermen went there because all fishermen from the area also hocked their trades there because the abundances of fisheries.

The truth is no one owns or want to own those islands before oil and gas was discovered there. There is no need to lie about it.

BTW Xisha is a different case not in this discussion. Perhaps leave it for the future.

Oh, it is not underwater like the coral reefs are occupied by China. They are the small islands.

Vietnamese has been controlled all the Islands like here, not under water. 600 year or more, there is no changed.

True there are a few island there. My point is 600 years ago people could not have lived or wanted to live there because not one of of the islands had water resources. They also hard to catch rain water because they were so small.

The picture above do not belong to any Spratly islands. Please have more respect to others' intelligent.

Vietnam should happy to own 40 islands and one wonder why she yells the loudest?

The reason is simple. She is take a page out of the American football play book: The best defense is a good offense.

This one is too close to judge but you do admit the previous one was not from Spratly then.

Currently, noisy disputes are not from the islands, but from U-shaped line claims of China. It goes deep into the EEZs of other countries....

Now you change course. Well Taiwan will soon join the disputes when her newly purchased warships are shipshape. Perhaps she might have documents to prove it since she made the original claims of the 9 dotted line.

For the mean time your country should tame down and settle with China because she is a big powerful country and such country deserve the due respects. Once you give the proper respect and you will find out how much you can be benefited.

China don't have right to claim, so very noisy to day. Bullying is job of robbers.

so what's wrong with China's claims over islands or sea or whatever near Vietnam coast if Vietnam is doing the same, you cannot be of both.

and Philippines is the one should complaining Spratly indeed.

Solution is to let status quo prevail, Let Philippines control its Scarborough , Vietnam its spartlys and China a few coral reefs here and there !!!

but fairly speaking I think Vietnam should return some of the islands to Philippines. It's unfair you penetrate close to Philippines's coast, and even illegal acording to UN law of sea.

Vietnam has managed the islands since the 15th century peacefully and continuously. We implement it in practice, not in imagination as China. Why do we give it to others?
China used force to rob some reefs from Vietnam in 1988, but she always imagine that the Spratly archipelago of hers. Even, she has claimed the waters just few miles from Philippines' coast.
