India and US planning to use Bagram Detainees against Pakistan

Why did the US attack Iraq when it himself had sold the the weapons. Its called the dirty game of world domination. The US and india both dont want a stable Pakistan. And hell if it breaks apart like the Balkan states thats a +.

I don't know about the US but no sane Indian will want a broken Pakistan. What Pakistan is experiencing with a destabilized Afghanistan will be nothing compared to what India will experience with a destabilized Pakistan.

:agree: A destabilised Pakistan will be a bigger threat to the world.

It would not be in India's interest to have an unstable Pakistan, but it is India's interest to create problems for Pakistan, so investment does not come, sports events are not held and Pakistan is isolated. But that could have effects on India too. What will the ICC or IPL do if there a bomb blast in a cricket event in India? Will India be banned like Pakistan for sporting events?

Regrading the topic Bargram detainees, as a nation and for our defence and intelligence units, we need to preempt this situation and be ready for more US/NATO/Indian sponsored covert terrorism in Pakistan.

I think their is no need to answer this question...

Cause after Mumbai blast England team came back to India for test Series and During last IPL Bomb blast held in Bangalore but without any interruption match occur .

There is no credibility for the news source ?

Let us know if there is any international news source. Until then its all hog wash, and the news atricle may have been planted by pak authorities.

What world are you living in. Take your naive simplistic views elsewhere. My my, this is really a new low for Indians. I am actually reckoning that the LSE report was a foreign intelligence agency false-flag op.

Well the source is The Nation. Editor is Dr. Shireen Mazari, a rabid anti-US, anti-India journalist with a penchant for conspiracy theories as well. Doubting the credibility of these claims should be necessary, even for us. If we disregard the LSE report as propaganda, based on fake sources and clearly based on no ground realities, then this report deserves a similar scrutiny as well.

That's not my point. You wanna scrutinize the report, go ahead. My point is that arguments such as "it's not published internationally hence is not credible" is just a very simplistic and naive argument.

'International news source' means nothing - the same 'international news sources' carried the news of Saddam's WMD's after all, and published an unsubstantiated article blaming the ISI and the President of Pakistan for supporting the Taliban.

What counts, always, are the facts used to back up a source, whether it be Shireen Mazari or a paper published by the LSE. The reason this particular thread was left open was to contrast it with the LSE paper, and how this article in a way predicts that certain 'Taliban' sources will be used to malign Pakistan. That is exactly what the LSE paper did.

So while I agree that this article does not offer any concrete evidence or names sources to substantiate its conclusions (like almost all of the material bashing Pakistan that comes out of the West and India), it does offer an interesting prediction of the LSE paper.

.
LSE is not an expert institution of wars and defence studies. Failures of NATO and US cannot be put on Pakistan. Who is stopping NATO to build check posts on the Afghan side of the border, if they are really sincere in securing the country. They are not sincere and LSE does not address US/NATO and their failures.

AS TOI is not accepted as reliable source by pak members, We Indian members dont believe anything printed in pak papers without authentication by other news sources.

There is not an Iota of truth or proof in this article, its just pure propaganda and another conspiracy theory.

But when the same Pakistani papers criticize and scrutinize the GOP and specially the army, you guys are the first ones opening threads based on them. So why do they suddenly become so credible them.

Point taken but as you can see the positive bias that stems from our allegiances has let people get carried away and nobody tried to scrutinize the story. Everybody is posting bug "yeahs" and nobody tried to say that the story is highly unreliable and such ****-and-bull stories can be expected of a newspaper that is highly anti-US and anti-India. At least give it the necessary scrutiny.

My take is that like lots of other stories this is based on no ground facts whatsoever, no interviews, nothing, zilch. It's just a product of the wasteful thinking that one does while one's free. The Nation came up with a news story to invigorate the USA-is-out-to-get-us mindset.

Even giving the benefit of the doubt and assuming that the story is based on something beyond a figment of imagination, then perhaps they got wind of information that a certain Bagram detainee might be releasing a statement (through necessary channels of course) that would create new allegations against our side. Hence, The Nation printed a news story to counter it even before it got published. I'm not saying that such a detainee couldn't have been lying, just that this is one possible scenario.

And the least probable scenario here is the one reported here where they actually got news from some sources.

AS TOI is not accepted as reliable source by pak members, We Indian members dont believe anything printed in pak papers without authentication by other news sources.

Definitely a valid point. If we don't accept ToI as a valid news source, why should we believe such news stories (The Nation is still better than ToI, it's not a tabloid).

The LSE report alleging 'Taliban commanders claiming Pakistani support, and even implicating Zardari in visiting Taliban leaders held in prison and announcing support for their operations, may very well be the execution of this new deception and propaganda.

http://www.defence.pk/forums/strate...ce-agency-supports-taliban-uk-university.html

same kind of these "ANAL"ysts and specialists talked about WMDs in Iraq which to date have not been found.

while being on the habitual course of defaming Pakistani forces these self proclaimed analysts also do one big harm and that is that they Imply that the NATO force commanders in Afghanistan & the US Military leadership is bunch of idiots & gullible fools who don’t have the “insight” and “mental capacity” of these students from LBS of economics.
so what ever General Petrias or Mike Mullen says is not important but NATO should immediately employ these pearls of wisdom from LBS. I am sure these “ANAL”ysts cant name more than 2 cities of Afghanistan.
