What's new

India Already Has a Strong Net to Catch the New Pak Bird ‘Ababeel’

Swordfish had 600 km range during first unveil & later upgraded to 1500 km
Thats the range of radar . what about the range of missile which intercept?
.
And you really think that usa is stupid enough to set a layer of satellites , multiple sensors and radars just to counter Russian MIRVED missiles?

They supposedly detect the launch only and only if the launch take place under their range . ( if you put your bmd system near border they will face anti radiation missile first )

Lolz your denial mode is good for us :D .
Any official statement that you have MIRV tech ?
Poor you trying hard to proof that indian bmd is effective against MIRV Missile . while in real usa it self isnt capable enough to stop Mirv Missile . oopps sorry to burst your bubble kid .stop proving things with vedic logic .
.
There is a reason that usa and Russia dont confront each other . they know they could destroy each other .
vedic or nor vedic or MIRV or not..We got ICBM.First deter it's high yield warheads for a small land like Pakistan...
Also Agni 5 can carry MIRV but wasn't officially announced by out scientists..

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/indiahom...le-missile-puts-India-select-nation-club.html

It was 'mission accomplished' as the nuclear-capable Agni-V hit the bullseye a few minutes after blasting off at 8.07 am on Thursday, propelling India into the elite league of powerhouse nations that possess long-range ballistic missiles capable of striking targets more than 5,000 km away.

The latest potent addition to the country's arsenal can penetrate Beijing and Shanghai in China, and all of Pakistan. The 17.5-metre-tall and 2-metre-wide surface-to-surface missile was launched from a mobile platform on Wheeler Island, off the Orissa coast in the Bay of Bengal.

It left behind an orange plume and rose to a height of 600 km before re-entering the atmosphere to hit a target over 5,000 km away in the Indian Ocean, defence sources disclosed.

The missile had a launch weight of around 50 tons and included a 1,500-kg dummy warhead that represented its nuclear payload. During the flight of the Agni-V, all parameters were monitored in real time by radars and electro-optical systems. Ships were located in mid-range and near the target, visually witnessing the fireball at the impact point.

Smooth take-off: Agni-V blasts off from Wheeler Island on Thursday morning

article-2132240-12ACC657000005DC-18_472x626.jpg

Agni-V can carry several warheads as it has multiple independently targeted re-entry (MIRV) capability. This is a modern feature of a long-range missile that enables it to hit several targets in an area.

Scientists said that for complete efficacy of the missile, some more tests would have to be carried out before it is handed over to the armed forces in 2014.

Kuch tum feko, kuch hum fekte hain. Fekus are both sides. Yesterday's Feku was ISPR, today is our turn!! :D

Indian swordfish can detect any launch on your pads & can intercept during ascend before going outer atmosphere.S400 is also capable during descend up to 180km height.
Yaa but they failed to detect ababeel MIRV? if they did detected why not they informed Indian janta yet that the test was fake.. Lol even your Chutia scientist says we doubt, wtf why doubt if u can track the mijjile? Lol

Plz provide any official indian statement of having Mirv tech.

You have a point there if they could detect then why do they have doubts . either its a real test or a fake one . why they hve doubts if they could detect it ? Now i have doubts :sarcastic:

It's not some latest but modified shaheen airframe with 2-3 warheads....

You don't know the difference between MRVs, and MIRVs--do you?

Here's some education for you, child...

In order to intercept incoming missiles, system has to "predict" the trajectory of missile, pick a spot, and send a intercepting missile to that point at the same time as incoming weapon--and destruct it.

BMDs radars supercompute the speed, trajectory, vector direction etc etc of incoming warhead and calculate where that missile would be say in exact 5 minutes. Then they transfer that information to interceptor and interceptor launches the missile with all the calculations done at super computing speed.

But with MIRVs, it's impossible to know where the warheads would be because they are programmed to independently engage different targets hundreds of km's apart. So radar can not calculate the trajectory of warheads and by the time intended target of warheads become clear, it's too late for interception.

No indian system can intercept MIRVs. Everybody knows that.

The ONLY country in the world that might be able to intercept MIRV weapons is US (And that too, by 2020-25 when their ongoing system will be fully deployed). Even US doesn't make the claim of being able to intercept MIRVs even though most-advanced American SM-3 block IIA anti-ballistic missile system can intercept missiles at around 700km height!!

But india with their pathetic prithvi can intercept MIRVed warheads?

Don't worry we need one Agni 5 just to melt all your TEL launchers

:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

Dumbass, you don't use ICBMs to target Tels because ICBMs have a significant CEP for pin point targetting

What a dumb f*ck. You don't even know BASICS of military tactics and weapon systems..

.ICBM has no deterrence till now..Also we possess MIRV technology from long back.We can carry 20 satellite in space by a single launch if you ask for example.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Dumbo girl, launching different satellites and having multiple warheads independently targeting various targets are completely different things.

I'm sure experience of inserting multiple sats in orbit will help indian MIRV efforts--but having MIRVed warheads and putting sats in orbit are not the same thing. A LOTTTT more needs to be mastered before employing MIRV warheads

Stop grasping at the straws.

Pakistan beat india to the race of introducing the most advance technological breakthrough in South Asian missile race till now (MIRVed warheads). Suck it up and stop crying..

india will get MIRVs too...don't worry. But as always, they'll be a step behind us.

(Now waiting you to bring in "range" to make your point, because that's what fanboys would do I bet!)

arrow 3 can intercept them

Very soon we will test 6000 + SLBM, so that we can fire our missiles from Somalian coast, how will you track and stop that missile at bost stage?

I have also doubt there scientists ability, one of prithvi missile scientist was say on babar 3 test that missile cant be fired horizontally but only vertically from a submarine.. Lol also they got help of a fake Chutia twitter exFart for face saving because there navy failed to catch our SLCM Babur...

Even if you dont have technical knowledge, you must know a bit of geography. Have a look at Russia's map and decide for yourself if 2200km from UK covers most of Russia.
You do understand that the distance i was mentioning was from London to Moscow?? b/w How many missiles you have got? Are all of them covering every nook and corner of India???

Hyper brain..Read the comment #4 again.Get my point..
No one is talking here to intercept MIRV..
I am saying it can be deterred before it leaves atmosphere..Also missiles can be intercepted by s400 after reentry as abdeen carries hardly more than 3 warheads..s400 has that ability..It has simultaneously guided missiles.
