India allows Eid holidays to muslims, what about EU countries?

We have so many example,in which Muslim countries give Christmas holidays. So i want to know about EU who talk big on equality and humanity, how many countries give even regional holiday.

I have heard that this Eid the Muslims in the Us got holidays .i dont know about the other countries

India has a huge muslim population which cant be ignored unlike most EU nations where the muslim population is almost negligible. Cant say about the rest of the EU but here in Britian if you are a muslim you are entitled a day off on eid IF you inform your workplace/school beforehand. They cannot force you to come on that day after that.

You are not correct and Europe especially France have huge Muslim population and this topics about National or Religious holidays not some one day leave

If you make a new day a holiday, another day is no longer a holiday,
so the holidays should be of interest to the majority.

I would not mind a law which said that religious minorities,
can always use their vacation for their religious holidays.

That is correct approach and i appreciate that and every country in this world have to be like that
