What's new

India allows Eid holidays to muslims, what about EU countries?

And who are you to decide the privileges of Indians ?huh?:D

Sorry some in PDFs still cant accept that and still living with delusions..
sir who am i to decide?. iam just suggesting

. .
India is a a secular country. Britain and many other European countries, although not highly observant, are still Christian officially.

. .
I guess there aren't very many Muslims in EU and those that there are migrants not indigenous.
Although I appreciate your attempt to use public holidays as a metric of religious 'equality and humanity'. Thats the most important factor to determine individual freedom innit?

Don't guess prove it.

.
what you already read. is it that difficult for you-----

That is why asked you that query ?
Still you couldnt clear that doubt .
Who are you to decide the privlieges of Indians that born ,live and die as sons of soil in this nation (irrespective of their religion)?

.
So whats the problem? Muslims are free to celebrate Eid however they want in civilised countries...but same cannot be said of other religion's festivals in most majority Muslim countries especially those that have put Sharia over everything else.

So anyone complaining that countries do not bend over backwards to accomodate Eid on the official calendar are being quite hypocritical. It is a decision left to the people of that country....pure and simple.

KSA and Somalia certainly dont, along with many other Muslim countries

Tell me which Western country has this kind of policy for Eid:

Ok compare Muslim Majority Countries that make Christmas as National Holiday (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Syria ....) and Western Countries who make Iedul Fitry as National Holiday (no one)

May be .
But according to my real life experience neither in India nor in GCC (according to our own muslim friends ) there is no such brotherly love .For Arabs ,Asians are just a second class citizen. In India people only cares about themselves .There is no such brotherly affection :D
Trust me they still prefer Indians than a Pakistani or any other people.
Because for them and for us , we are one.
