China cannot afford to go on a WAR with India. Even if it wins, China will be viewed as an aggressor in World arena and countries like Vietnam, Phillipines and Japan would start worrying and there will be increased presence of US troops and Naval ships in the area.

Also, If china starts offensive operations against India, Do you think their Northern neighbors and India's long time friend would keep quiet? They would do anything & everything to stop an Chinese invasion into Indian territory. There may be a few skirmishes. But thats it.

China is a very strong nation.
Even if it is viewed as a aggressor (which I highly doubt since no-one really cares about India in international arena), it cannot stop China's growing..

If China attacks India then it will be same reaction from the world when Russia invaded Georgia... Small talk big warnings, but nothing happened.

India can give only warning and there is nothing India can do about it, If China keeps its invasion India will only shout, and if they do it again they will shout loud, The fact is that we have only heard about one side, who knows Indian military troops also violate the LAC several times?, and China and Chinese media don't like to shout and express there time wasting on this foolish activity, besides Indian Media has a very POWERFUL SPEAKER that, keeps on saying against other countries in a pathetic way, keeping their bullshits hide... There is not going to be any war, because Indian Government deeply knows what China is too much powerful, leading to a war will be a Totally Stupidity, however there Trade is in progress which is leading to a very good level, so these compromises should be made in order to maintain peace and stability...

Why so many predictions of another Sino-Indian War coming out of India?

I remember that old NDTV article that predicted China would attack India "before 2012". (I.e. By the end of 2011).

Now he thinks a Sino-Indian War is coming in 2013 instead, what?

China has and never will start a war with India. India on the other hand instigated the 1962 war during the Chinese famine. Should China face an economic slump and face famine, we have to watch the Indians closely.
