Lol...lemme tell you guys about an incident when I used to work in a BPO.....I worked for Hewlett packard outsourced from our company Wipro.....as a supervisor I was supposed to to take escalation calls from high valued customers or customers whose case was complicated and needed my intervention......so there was this case where a pakistani customer had some issue with the laptop and his issue was completey resolved and he seemed happy so he wanted to appreciate the agent(the guy who helped him out for more than an hour) and wanted the floor manager to know this [he didnt know, that it would be an Indian again(me)]...thanks to the BPO life now I have almost an american accent, for which he couldnt realise I was an Indian...the guy thought , it was some american manager, and the first thing he said, the moment I wished him...." i am not going to buy HP laptops, cause that would mean talking to Indians...the guy who helped me was so rude and bad that i wouldnt call your place again..sorry sir, please hire some amercian agents..these guy are useless and not worth talking" (he didnt even know the words were recorded). later I informed him that i would see into the matter if there ws any issue and escalated the matter to the process manager. Later that night, I reviewed the call and found that the agent was extremely plite with the pakistani guy and infact was extra polite the moment he came to knw that he was a Pakistani..and it was one of th best calls ever...all the issue were resolved and he was also wished for Thanks giving , which the pakistani guy acknowledged and said he was really happy that the cll was routed to an Indian so that he doesnt have to deal with some amercian and that India and Pakistan having same roots he felt easier dealing with them.
thanks to the TS....i was reminded of this incident, which i can never forget....and we still laugh for that day.

After reading the first post of the thread, I came to conclusion that there are 3 possibilities.
1) The incident if indeed happened, highlights the foolishness of the OP (believing somebody without substantial proof in virtual world), rather than the betrayal & deceptive nature of that supposedly Indian or Indians in general.
2)The probability of the the person, who allegedly betrayed the OP, being Indian is same as the probability of him being a Pakistani or of any country in the world.
3) This incident is a made up story to earn many thanks to the OP.
I sincerely hope that the 3rd possibility is not true and this incident becomes a lesson for Aryan himself on how to live in virtual world; rather than being used to generalize Indians as betrayers.
LOL.. What does this incident make All Pakistanis??
First of all, it did take place. They are not making it up. Secondly, I can assure you the person who betrayed the OP is Indian: Aryan_B updated me on the situation, they got IP information from the mods, which is why they know the person is Indian. Thirdly, I think the OP was smart that he only let out his name/email address, the betrayer gave out much more information about himself.

So if the information exchange was more from the so called betrayer and that information is correct, then what betrayal are we talking about??

btw, IP address approach to locate geographical location is crap.. For 4 dollars a month, you could swap IPs across the globe faster than you could say Internet Protocol...
not to b rude, but OP is a attention ***** ....

Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
When I first came to this forum, I too was very friendly towards Indians.
But after months of being called a "slanty-eyed chink" every single day, I finally learned my lesson.
