In Praise of India: 30 Famous Quotations

. .
Interesting,
A nation of more than a billion population, with a history of millenniums in depth, a world famous culture and philosophy, those only factors are definitely more than enough reason to explain the today's Indian crave for progress and prosperity.
And my two cents, in no more than a decade or two we'll see India in the right place she deserves.

That is alright, it will happen when it will happen.
But right now; it is a priority that the World wakes up to Iran; and to its potential to be a leading force to help stabilise the region. The New Nuclear Deal is only one step in that direction.

Why the bharati Flag.
The stuff mentioned above refers to The old India or British India not Bharat India.

In these quotes India you are talking about is India+Pakistan+Bangladesh combined. Though later two are stressing that they are not Indian anymore but they were Indian for 4000 years right up from Harappa civilization to Indian independence from British.

@New one more!

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried. Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and, to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, 'Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.' I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

- Julius Robert Oppenheimer on Trinity Nuclear Tests, the first ever detonation of a nuclear weapon on Earth in 1945.

Oppenheimer, considered the father of the atomic bomb learned Sanskrit and used to read the Bhagavad Gita in the original Sanskrit and later he cited it as one of the books that most shaped his philosophy of life.
