In a full-blown war with India sinking the INS Vikrant should be top priority

This thread will be exactly what the title is about. I stress this simply because aircraft carriers allow strikes from the sea thus eliminating the need for airbases. How this can be accomplished is complex since most likely the ship will be with a carrier strike group but there are three options I see #1 being anti-ship cruise missiles launched in barrages from shore based batteries #2 being air-launched Exocets and #3 being ship-launched or even submarines destroying the ship. The ship will be well defended so the best option would be a preemptive sinking when war is imminent. If someone with more experience about Pakistan's and India's navy that could elaborate on options.

Sending in Thunders armed with CM-400AKGs along with block 52 Vipers as escorts seems like a good game plan, along with using submarines and land-based ballistic missiles.

Can MANPADS not shoot down helicopters?

Ignore him he's not sane.

If the subs were lost the lost would be justified

No, it wouldn't be. Pakistan should only go after the carrier if it feels confident it can take it out.

Counter intuitive when India has more soldiers and the better ability to push through Pakistan.

Nasr can easily dispose of any and all advancing columns if the Pakistani army ever gets overwhelmed.

Don't worry, just like PAF Thunders have rubbed their noses in the ground by shooting down their top of the line MAHA SU30 MKI, PN will give them an even bigger surprise, their ACC is PN's prime target and it is doomed in any naval conflict.

You don’t need to sink the Vikramadiya, you just need to sink one of its escorts in full view with all hands lost. They’ll be dead in their tracks right there and then.

Respected member can u pls answer is CM400 operational with JF17 further do currently Babur CM operational with our subs.

Yes, bro. JF-17 Thunder + CM400AKG combo is operational (50 units were ordered).

No, Babur-III not operational yet - not from submarines.

No info - records show it was ordered but it may not be ordered.

Bhai , I have a question .. is it possible to hit deck of AC to make it disable ? What i notice that every AC has two landing and taking off Strips , so Damaging them from missiles can disable the AC right ?

That deck is sometimes nearly a half a foot of reinforced steel at places.
Its better to focus on scaring the hell out of them and one or two destroyers going down with all hands is enough.

we know pak pilots are better. we know pak can use inferior jets to inflict damage on advanced jets.

if i was indian i would invest in a weapon that is manoeuvrable, high impact, lethal and in great number. just a thought. a helicopter would be great for land and mountain bases.

jets are useless in mountains. we know that
