There are operations going along with collaboration the only difference is Afghan troops are confined to Afghanistan and Pakistan Army is within Pakistan. However if there is a requirement to support Afghan National Army then Pakistan Army does enter Afghanistan. Taliban have a different ideology and goal for Afghanistan where as ISIS has a very different. The only thing ISIS is they have more funds due to the Oil trade and they are better pay masters.i have a question ,why cant Pak-Afghan collaborate and joint Pak-Afghan operations against taliban, why do you want to bring taliban to the negotiation table, how is taliban diff from daesh, after all most of the members from daesh will be from taliban.
Will the Taliban come to a negotiating table ... Will they understand the deference between them and ISIS ... Will they denounce terrorist activities ... Will the like to return to bring peace...etc etc... can only be answered with time...
The best solution for Pakistan is to secure her Boundaries and monitor...If and when such time arises then reply in force.
