What's new

In 2011, News series of Tajik children's dangerous school run shocked China and gripped the hearts of hundred of millions in China. How they doing now

During the past 10 years under Xi's tenure China has changed a lot, we know Xi is strongly hated by US and India, but his pro not-well-off people policy is well received by lower middle class population. Rich people may not like him but they are not the great majority in China, Xi is comfortably enjoying pretty sound popularity and support for his job performance of the past 10 years.

And the west dreams about these kids who were growing up being taken great care by the government can somehow turn against the Chinese government after they grow up, a really wet dream.

If Uighur separatists have their ways, Tajik will face genocide.

Uyghurs are Pan Turkist and Pan Turkist always make sex slave out of Kafir. Tajiks are Shia Ismaeli that Uighur extremist hate because Uighur crackpot thought think these are Kafirs.

In the whole world Han Chinese treats Muslim best, and even better than Muslims themselves over their Muslim subjects.
Yes, the relationship between Tajiks and Uighurs is bad. Uighurs also have a larger population than Tajiks. But even if the Han people in Xinjiang do not intervene in the conflict between the Muslims in Xinjiang, the Uighurs still have the powerful enemy of Hui. The Hui people are mainly distributed in the north of Xinjiang. Although the Hui people in the north of Xinjiang are not as many as the Uighurs, we should not forget that there are very belligerent Hui people in Qinghai Province in the south of the Uighurs. Moreover, the Mongols in the eastern part of the Uighurs also have bad relations with the Uighurs. Other Muslims in Xinjiang, such as Kazaks, Kirgiz and other ethnic groups, regard Hui as Muslim leaders. These nationalities will be the allies of the Hui people.

BTW: It is not that the Han people are particularly good to Muslims. In fact, the Han people have the same attitude towards any ethnic group. However, the nature of the Han people is to pursue order and discipline, and what Xinjiang needs most is order. Of course, the Tajiks are indeed the Xinjiang ethnic minorities who most support the central government.

If Uighur have their ways, it will be catastrophe of Armageddon level for Islam. Uyghur will certainly use Islam to make all other Muslims sex slave and kill their man especially Hui and Tajik.

Their Pan Turkic comrades always did that.

Let's not badmouth Uyghurs, most of them are good people supporting the central government, only a handful of radicals seek to make trouble, they are extremely few, every country has their fair share of crazy bunch, Uyghurs by and large a great people, I personally had several very close Uyghur childhood friends when I was growing up.

Tashkuran's pair-up support city is Shenzhen, this means the poverty alleviation and economic development of Tashkuran was relegated to Shenzhen city by the central government. Most infras are also bankrolled by Shenzhen city, this is why many Tajiks love Shenzhen so much.

A new movie based on this school run story was released all across China late last month, from the trailer it seems that a young grassroots cadre sent to work there falls in love with a local Tajik girl, this must be spice added to romanticize the story which is probably not true. Hopefully this school run story wouldn't be turned into a romance movie.

Spending tens of millions dollars to build a road just for a remote small village, Only China can be this ‘’stupid". Many foreigners ridicule about China for losing hundreds of millions dollars on her high speed railway and subway operations yearly. But the Chinese government doesn't care, government collects taxes from the public so they rightfully should be spent on the public.

Amid European gas crisis, Natural gas pipelines reach the remotest villages of China in the Pamir Plateau in 2022

Amid European gas crisis, Natural gas pipelines have reached the remotest villages of China , the roof of the world in the Pamir Plateau in 2022. Local Tajik villagers now can enjoy clean natural gas for cooking and heating, the quality of life and living environment had been greatly improved.

The villagers said they used to have to walk kilometers to carry back firewood and yak dungs to make fire and all the walls were blackened by the unbearable smoke, now it's super convenient and clean, no more blacken walls and furnitures, no more fire wood trekking, quality of life have been massively improved by natural gas.

A new airport was finished this May in this remote corner of the Pamir Plateau, in the future those herders can just fly out of these god fobidden insurmountable mountains. This new airport will greatly help the locals to travel in and out of this far away area, especially for emergency medical situations.

At an elevation of 3,200 m, it is Xinjiang's highest plateau airport.Construction started on 26 April 2020 with an expected investment of CN¥1.63 billion or US$251 million. The airport has been designed to handle 400 tons and 160,000 passengers annually.Test flights were started at the airport in May 2022.

Aerial photo taken on June 10, 2020, shows communication base stations at Tashkurgan, the Tajik autonomous county in Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Located east of the Pamir Plateau, Tashkurgan averages over 4,000 meters above sea level. The remote villages in the county have few options to communicate with the outside world. To meet the demand of over 5,200 local residents for the internet , radio and television programs, Optical fiber cables is being connected every home .
