Met Gen Pasha, Imran Khan on separate occasions: US Ambassador


RAWALPINDI: United States (US) Ambassador to Pakistan, Cameron Munter has admitted to meeting ISI chief Lt Gen Shuja Pasha and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, but on separate occasions, Express 24/7 reported on Tuesday. He refrained from giving further details.

Munter also distanced himself from the Memogate scandal and said that the fate of Husain Haqqani is for Pakistan to decide. He said it was Pakistan’s personal issue, but if requested he would help out in the inquiry.
Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Munter said that the US supported democracy and strong institution, so the issue needed to be dealt with by Pakistan.

He said that the issue would not affect bilateral relations between the two countries.

A leading British newspaper claimed on Sunday that Imran recently met US Ambassador Cameron Munter in the presence of Pasha – a report strongly denied by the military, as well as the PTI.

Quoting sources, The Sunday Times alleged that Imran was introduced to Munter in Pasha’s presence, adding that the PTI chief is supported by the Pakistani intelligence agency and military. However, a spokesman for the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday that the report was “totally baseless and concocted”.

Fracker…!! Actually I’m very much enjoying PTI supporter’s incredible each and every posts on this very issue, which shows how much they are confused and the situation of their defense columns which are totally in disarray on this recent assault by PMLN.

And that confirms how much PMLN succeeded in pushing PTI backwards after a demoralizing 30th October day and by picking this line in Faisalabd Jalsa they actually ‘hit the evil in the bud’ fearlessly. I mean look at Ch. Nisar speech there around this issue, its unprecedented in our 65 years history that some politician have a ride like this so openly.

Now by only lip serving denial on these linkups conspiracies is not going to solve their purpose anytime soon, unless they too fall prey to adopt PMLN’s clear-cut attitude towards agencies as well, which they can’t affords at this very moment.

Neither have they afforded to acknowledge this very fact ‘openly’ in our media and other world outlets, (Although majority of PTI nursery accepted it happily) which will smash their PR campaign without recovery before it started fully.
