Imran Khan's Lack of Judgement and Temper Already Showing

He is a human being like the rest of us with all the shortcomings that come with the package, the main things that matter are
1 - Is he honest?
2 - Is he sincere?
3 - Does he know what needs to be done?
4 - Does he have the will power and the courage to do it?
5 - Can he do it?

I don't think there is any doubt in or disagreement in answering the first four in positive. Regarding the last one, only time will tell but based on his past performance on other projects I am pretty confident that he will but not without rubbing quite a few people the wrong way.

I hope and pray that he succeeds, even if he does not, I'll be happy that at least he tried with full honesty and sincerity which is better than not trying at all.

Again people are expecting too much too soon and we need to realize that cleaning a 71-year rot takes time, patience and perseverance and even then he alone can't do anything unless he gets full support from the nation.

Firstly, for the record, I have supported Imran Khan in the 2018 elections and want him to complete his agenda and his term. I believe this is not because Imran Khan is so great--but because the alternatives are even worse. Plus, some fresh blood is not so bad once in a while. BUT... the 3 videos posted below reflect a few major points:
1) Ayaz Amir and Haroon ul Rashid criticizing Imran's choice for Punjab Chief Minister (Mr. Buzdar). Both have been Imran's supporters (by default, like me) but are very upset with Imran's choice.
2) Ayaz Amir takes Imran to task for focusing so much, so early on the so-called 'austerity' measures theatrics.
3) Kamran Khan exposes Imran Khan's lack of temper control and even Haroon says that once Imran confided to him something like 'how can I be a good leader with such a mighty ego?'

There should not be a blank check for Imran Khan. But I am hoping and praying for his success. I really am.

"Ayaz Amir takes Imran to task for focusing so much, so early on the so-called 'austerity' measures theatrics."

Its fine and all but these theatrics are also needed to show that the prime minister of Pakistan with the common man and the poor by showing a good amount of symbolism in the shape of simplicity, reduced protocol while traveling and with much lower expediture while in govt.

.
I think we should give gim time.
Time will tell about his judgements and performance.
If we can tolerate zardari and shaereef in the name of democracy then why not him?

.
It is fact , PMLn intentionally created the environment and they create again . But, Imran Khan need to be focused on his work, because he is in majority in parliament.

Divide the Punjab into 3 and Sindh in 2.

BTW Sir, I remember you used to be quite against the sit-in by PTI.. and you wanted the business as usual to continue..Am I right? I'm not saying or implying you did not support IK in GE 2018.. but that was just a card from my memory.

I think my signature is a deliberate one: Anarchy is the worst enemy of any nation. What Imran Khan was trying to do in 2014 was opposed by me and, I believe, most of these forum members--this forum turned against Imran Khan then--almost overnight. Haroon Rasheed also opposed Imran then. But that doesnt mean we meant 'business as usual'--it was our wisdom to see that if we allowed that then there's no future for Pakistan: Anyone in future would be able to try to do that. And also look: He was with that Mullah Tahir ul Qadri: NEVER TRUST A MULLAH. NEVER!

"Ayaz Amir takes Imran to task for focusing so much, so early on the so-called 'austerity' measures theatrics."

General Zia was a 'meek, humble person'. The damageS he had done to Pakistan are incalculable. Prime Minister Junejo restricted everyone to 'Honda Accords' in mid 90s (from more expensive vehicles) and he even said: "Generals are the kings but they too need to use Honda Accords now'. Altaf Hussein of MQM lived in a supposedly '120 sq yds house' and bragged about his humbleness ad nauseum. ...

These theatrics have been happening for decades. But Mr. M. A Jinnah may have acted like an aristocrat and even drank booze but he worked tirelessly for Pakistan. Mr. ZAB drank booze but worked long hours and achieved much in foreign policy. Mr Ayub Khan delivered a lot without looking like a 'pious' Muslim. These three people are still alive in Pakistan. Why?!!

Like Ayaz Amir, I can see theatrics and BS very early and very clearly.

Mr. Imran Khan will lose more credibility in my eyes if he continues to go down the route of the theatrics--and that's what, in one of the videos above, Ayaz Amir is also saying.

I AM SICK OF THE SHALLOW THEATRICS OF THE RULERS!!! Live in a golden palace. Have golden faucets. Have gold plated Rolls Royces. But USE YOUR EFFING BRAIN for long term gains and deliver!!! Don't have photo-ops in a 'Container' only to go back to your nice Banigala house for 'exercise' and then rejoin the unwashed masses--it's not hard to decipher your fakeness.

Deliver without the dramatics. Simple.

Question is .... Does Imran khan will apoint Usman Buzdar as a Head of Shokat Khanam hospital ???? if the answer is No .... then why he is appointing him for Punjab province which has a population of 12 karor and economy of over 2000 billions ... ????

Of course not. Buzdar was purely for optics, nothing more. Just saw his press conference and others in PTI had to literally tell him what to say when media asked questions.

But PTI have formed committee who will support (control) CM, it consist of Pervez Elahi, Chaudhry Sarwar and Aleem Khan.

Honestly I'm not worried about Punjab CM. Imran Khan will be CM by default. PM doesn't have any power at all to control province after 18th amendment. For this reason he needed weak candidate for CM who he can control or throw out when ever he want.

Imran Khan himself will personally look after punjab.

You give me examples of General Zia being a meek and humble person when he was a snake in hiding and also examples of altaf hussain regarding whom we all know is a filthy animal regardless but we've known Imran khan's personality and simplicity through his past efforts unlike the previous leaders. While i do believe that you've got to have substance at the end of the day and prove that you mean business, i also believe that symbolism and so-called 'theatrics' are an important part of a country's leader so he can set a precedent for future leaders to follow.

Who isn’t flawed, although people forget that IK has done more for Pakistan without being in power than those could ever do in power! As for these loudmouth analysts/so called journalists talking crap year round is their bread and butter. Their BS started even before he has started work! IK was right to get pissed off as would any man with an iota of self respect which the morons from PML-N totally lack!
Usually failure in poetry makes one a critic!!! Journalists are basically the most sell-outs, traitors, collaborators, backstabbers, terrorist moles, and the first tier of tongue of Satan!!! If any journalist hasn't proved himself to be 100% rightly guided, that folk should be avoided at any cost...

@Meengla

So, you don't have your own mind and you believe these analysts??

Haroon ur Rasheed was angry because he wasn't invited to oath taking ceremony and I don't understand what the problem is with new CM Punjab. If he's not from Lahore and not that rich than can't he become CM??? CM Punjab will be supported by Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Speaker Pervez Illahi and it will be a balanced team. And are all these journalists NAJOOMI?? How can they know that he won't be able to deliver?? I remember these journalists saying that Khan won't be able to deliver in KPK, he delivered and won again by 2/3rd majority breaking records

.
No, if you think all those journalists in the 4 videos above are 'Lifafa Journalists' (bribed) then you should know that most of these people had been against Nawaz Sharif when NS was firmly in power. Not everything is for sale in this world. If Pakistan's journalists were that cheap to buy then Pakistan would be another Afghanistan.

Please don't cheapen the discourse.
Please Comment on the content not word lifafa

He chose him for 2 reasons:
1: to avoid clashes in his party in Punjab..
2: to take charge of Punjab by himself..

.
I had thought of that. Yes, I probably personally have a temper like Imran Khan: Won't put up with crap. But, as Haroon Rashid--who worked with Imran for 16 YEARS while IK was in political wilderness--says: "A 66 year old man should learn to control his temper after so long in the politics. There will be many much heavier crises being the PM of Pakistan and he doesn't seem to be on right track' (paraphrased from a few statements).

Please don't take me wrong: All I am saying is that IK is a flawed person. Personally cleaner than other top leaders but he's not be given a blank check. He's to be TOLD that you are the PM of Pakistan and behave like that instead of a 'container' riding rabble rouser.

Donald Trump can afford to be a jerk of America--a superpower. I BELIEVE Imran Khan shares some traits with DT but Pakistan' can't afford his mighty unchecked ego.

The 4th video questioning Imran Khan's judgement--and these are Pakistan's Mike Wallaces and David Frosts. And at least a couple of them have been supportive of Imran Khan. Just listen to what Malick is saying from the beginning.

Who is Haroon Rasheed?

Who is Malick etc?

Do I give a damn what they think when I saw what I saw and heard what I heard? No!

Watch British Parliament coverage and question time specifically. British PM gives it as good as he/she gets from opposite benches. But there is no filthy swears thrown at each other.

What IK as PM said in the parliament - nothing wrong with that at all.

Let the new Prime Minister start his work, then people can judge him after 2 years.

Here's what I have noticed so far, world leaders from around the world have started respecting Pakistan from day one. This is unprecedented.

The same did not happen with Asif Ali Zardari/Nawaz Sharif - they were instead shunned and tested by world leaders from day one.
