If they manage to keep him out of the coming elections, they will have achieved their objectives as he is 70 now and will be 75 by the following election.

Pak military would have tried some drama with India if they had the money to finance even 2 weeks' of fireworks and if they were not on leash of the US government. So it's unlikely.

Compare with Mujib who went all in when he had an infinitely higher chance of being killed than IK given Mujib was a Bengali and they had a total disregard for Bengali lives. IK hasn't even put up a fight going by Mujib's standard.

The address on the warrant is a generic thing, it is not like an accused cannot be arrested if he/she is not present at the address mentioned in the warrant.

1- Police cannot keep someone in custody in such a warrant, that too for this many days. It is bound to produce someone in court.

2- Read section 76, I posted it in full a few pages back.

3- According to every lawyer I have heard on TV and those I know, never has the police ever been so active in producing someone before the court in a case of this magnitude in such a manner, especially when the accused's lawyers have been in court, and also because the accused isn't running away from every court but making a claim for security.

4- The court once asked the govt to give a guarantee for Nawaz Sharif's health, would it also ask now for the govt to give a guarantee for IK? (This is a subjective point though).
