For those who were saying upper middle class, posh people didn't show up @Bleek

Saw a video from Lahore, where women with small children, old babas, middle class aunties in their Wagon R's were going towards Zaman park.

Now I wasn't alive at that time, but my elders tell me pehle sirf Bhutto kay waqt this demographic got out like this.

Surely a thinking point for the powers to be that why these people are getting out in this manner and making their voice heard.

I myself have seen 70 year old couples getting tear gassed at D chowk, along with the Pathan from Mardan, and the fashionable 20 something girl from F7, and the guy from South Punjab.

Point to ponder.

He will likely be tortured or at least kept in jail for a long time and declared unfit for election etc.

IK or whoever a great leader in Pakistan is, they need to go Sheikh Mujib way or the Turkish peoples' way. Pakistanis don't like this statement but it's the only way to put this military on a leash.

He's too big to be 'taken out' that way I imagine.. but then they do have a history of deposing (and sometimes worse to) sitting incumbents.

My only concern remains that (and I hope I'm wrong), their fauj might pull a stunt with us to take the heat off themselves.. dekho..

Bajwa did wrong but IK was with him throughout until ousted. Both are culprits.

Bajwa will never come back into a position of power and his side-kick IK also shouldn’t.

Correct, but they can just keep him in jail for one excuse or other and disqualify him under some phoney pretext. They are already experimenting with that, questioning the parentage of his daughter. If they manage to keep him out of the coming elections, they will have achieved their objectives as he is 70 now and will be 75 by the following election.

Pak military would have tried some drama with India if they had the money to finance even 2 weeks' of fireworks and if they were not on leash of the US government. So it's unlikely.

IK could have spoken up when in power as PM but it was only after he lost power as PM that he started becoming mard-e-momin.

IK was enjoying being in bed with Bajwa as long as IK held power. No respect for IK.

The biggest mistake of IK is he still playing soft against these criminals... he is not giving any call to his supporters... warna is khusra khassiyon ko lag pata jayee

Please do any of the steps outlined above yourself.

I am not IK. My advice is for PTI and IK. You can disagree with these steps and if so argue why these are not good steps. Just stating "you should do it yourself" carries little weight.

If used and abused by Bajwa (e.g IK) get so much importance, maybe you can join the line also. Get stamped by Bajwa first.
