Well... This was expected. He tried to test the waters and Mullahs showed him how much freedom they will allow in his naya pakistan..

Pakistani's does not believe in equality. Sad that a country born complaining that they will not get equal treatment is doing this.
Minorities can take part in the government. Stop dragging this minorities argument everywhere.

The problem with Ahmadis/Qadiyanis is that they call themselves Muslims while opposing one of the main principles of Islam. They are dividing Islam further (It's already divided into Sunnis and Shias) by making this Religion and presenting it as a form of Islam. That's like a group of people saying Jesus was never a prophet or anything and still calling themselves Christians.

The whole debate about these people is that if they want to practice their religion, they shouldn't call themselves Muslims and should make it clear that they don't believe in the Holy Prophet's finality.

As for Imran Khan's bongi, he should have thought about it before talking about Atif Mian. The problem with him is that he's trying to make everyone happy, which Is practically impossible.

Bro, watch this video carefully, He said he didn't know about this before about Atif Mian. Obviously, IK would not ask any of his party member that which religion or sect they belong to. He wanted to appoint him because he is one of the finest economist.

I watched the video alright.
When he talked about Atif Mian, he didn't know he was Qadiani. However, the maulvis did know about it. So they made a fuss out of it. Right now, Imran Khan is confused whether to make the maulvis happy or the liberals.

Whats the problem if the guy is Ahmedi?

The guy is a freaking Professor at Princeton. PRINCETON. That's the Harvard of people who don't get into Harvard.

IMF gave him a tip of the hat. The IMF!

Damn we Pakistanis have got to stop listening to these uneducated Molvis.

I agree. Unfortunately, Imran Khan looks confused about who he wants to keep happy, molvis or liberals. He probably thinks he has enough enemies already.

Flowing with the flow dead wood

bro we don't have to defend his every move where he is wrong it should be pointed out....for the past 5 years we see him afraid to take on extremists and now Pakistan can't use the services of a highly capable economist because he happens to be a ahmedi

Non-muslims in Muslim majority states tend to be disloyal to the state. Its a fact and as such having an qadiani as your finance minister is definitely not a good idea. Its not abt equality or minority rights. Minorities must be allowed to practice their religion but giving them important public position is like digging your own grave.

Wow what an excellent example of Mullah thinking. And then you people ask for equal rights in non islamic countries :disagree:

Well if this guy Atif Mian is a capable economist then I see no issue why he should not be IK's finance advisor. His religious back ground should not be obstacle in his job.

Doesn't the right of a Pakistani include the right to be involved in government even if you don't belong to a majority religion of the country ? IK seems to have made a big booboo here :undecided:
NO
you have to be a wahabi then you have full immunity, protection by the lawyers and judges and praise from Media personalities like Hamid Mir Patel.

if you are not a wahabi then you are an unlucky person and worth nothing.

There is difference between riots or fights which happen after some instance and discrimination. There is no discrimination in government position in India. Not a single person will oppose if a Muslim is PM.
lol?

He has made himself quite clear. Rights will be given to all the minorities & law is same for everyone.
which makes sense
unless someone is giving the hand of his daughter .. why bother with the issue of race or religion? when such thing is not even relevant to the role he is needed for?
