Hi, Imran Khan made his first speech in the Parliament of Pakistan after taking oath.
He also mentioned Bangladesh in his speech.

I would like to know what do Bangladeshi members think about it?

Edit1: thanks for fixing the title mods.

PS: Imran Khan. Typo in the title. I know. if any mod can correct that. Please do.

Imran Khan is neither the elected PM of pakistan nor does it have any significant pull among the public ! His words mean ZILCH !!

Basically he said, there are countries with lesser natural resources than Pakistan, but they are more prosperous than Pakistan. It is because they have justice in them, while Pakistan lacks justice. Root cause of Pakistan's problems is justice, which eventually led to separation of Bangladesh. He also said, two nation theory exists, but justice does not exist, which resulted in separation of Bangladesh.

It's true that lack of justice led to the separation of Bangladesh but we have justice established in our society is an overstatement. BD apparently progressed because we have an almost monoethnic society and apparently we are more tolerant and far less violent than any of the Pakistani ethnicities. Again intolerance in itself is not always bad if it can be chanelled against crimes and injustice.

If things continue as they are, a time will come when we will hear speeches of Pakistan being compared to Uganda, Burkina Faso or other African states. At that time they will be doing a lot lot better than Pakistan.

IK should not have said anything about Bangladesh

No way that can happen

What he says makes a lot of sense but I would add that while Bangladeshis looked for justice in 1971 even after 42 long years we still do not have it ..... Time to secede from India me thinks ....
