Now Ik needs someone else to hold the liability of his incompetence and arrogance, he is now openly saying he is not given a good team! given? what does this mean ? wasn't he working with his team ? then who's team is it? it means he is now blaming establishment for his all failures? since establishment have decided not be a part of Ik,s politics and stay neutral and Ik wants them to work them as his political asset hence now Ik have turned against them. I think it's time for establishment that they should learn what to support and whom to support. it's a nation which needs loyal leadership and leaders in material not stooges who don't have any morale responsibility or balls , they are just power hungry clans, I said this in other thread that Ik have some how directly or indirectly said to business community that look man I'm not incharge of financial matters you need to go somewhere else, which actually was and is a attempt to blame establishment for his worse performance,fact is that establishment have tried to give Ik financial ease , like they didn't insisted to raise defense budget, like they have been with him on his begging campaign around the world. Seems like you really need some help in regard to make sure that you aren't taking cheap shots at others merely to have some attention. Speaking of IK or anyone else, I don't have any qualm or interest as long as discussion stays within the norms, ethics as well as under Forum Rules. Just so that you don't have anyone to seek some remedy, it doesn't mean that you can try to name me for your little credit. Read my post again and then your failed attempt to make a point and then realize, how wrong we can be when it comes to judge others merely because of your own faulted political ideologies so here is an advise, instead of taking cheap shots like this or naming me for something that doesn't relate to me; you can try to claim some credit by doing better things.

Social media is not the source & Dr. Shahid Masood can be then treated as credible as compare to some SM farce but I don't know what makes you think that I really don't like Shahid Masood or any other credible source saying as such or criticizing IK or Nawaz or Zardari or JUIF etc. You are knocking at the wrong door.

I believe the government realized to bring change to Pakistan's economy would require some brutal surgery and it would cause much pain. This would lead to huge political pressure that would either stymie reforms or actually cause them to be rolled back. The fact is we have powerful vested interests who do not want change, who do not want accountability, who do not want to pay taxes.

Given that the government has thin majority this presented challanges. I think PMIK pulled a clever one. He got the military onboard via Gen. Bajwa and thus reinforced his reforms with backing of the army. I read that after having failed to thwart the reforms these vested interests then went crying to Gen. Bajwa who then essentially gave them a dressing down and told them these difficult reforms would have to be seen through.

As I have said many times, PMIK deserves his full term in office so that we can see what he is actually able to deliver on his promises. He still has plenty of time remaining. We need to be patient.

When China was still a dirty, stinky, poor place with no good prospects, our leaders also got habit talking about Chinese spaceships and such, when the state was unable to even keep water and electricity working in major cities (Shanghai had electricity outages just few decades ago.)

The problem was, people in Beijing were putting the cart before the horse. Talking about making Chinese cars, but for whom and for whose money? Talking about building grand roads, but for whom to drive on them? Talking about building grand new cities, but again, who were to be living in them, and with what money were people supposed to buy those houses?

I think Pakistan and your current establishment has to have its own time thinking about this.

Even if IK will build millions of social housing apartments, where will people will get money to buy them? Last time I was in the county, I saw everybody willing to give money for a house, having a house.

If current establishment will rehabilitate PSM, what industry will be buying its steel output?

If current establishment will rehabilitate PIA, who will be flying the expensive long range flights on wide body airlines it operates?

If the current government will finally successfully finish building pilot industrial zones, from where will the business using them will come from?

No matter how poor and backward is the industry you have in Pakistan now, it's the only industry you have, and will have for many more years even if money will be falling on you from the sky.

I'm all for current Pakistani establishment trying to fix things as they are now, and not chase something over the top.
