Imran Khan must act .. NOW

Ironically, people are being educated in the sense that only jobs can solve their problems while the rest of issues of society can go to hell and may be resolved by some miracle. Interestingly, there are very less people concern with real issues when it comes to elect the right leadership but majority interests the personal benefits and remain blinded. Offering jobs is the only reasons to attract voters.
You've touched a topics people hardly realise it's importance. Well said.

There is no doubt in regard to their involvement in the said destruction process and over the time, had their influence in so & so departments by making them believe that they will have to serve party's interest to fulfill their own greed thus, cycle continues. On other hand, politicians have done everything to destroy their ability of prioritizing the service of national cause instead, they are being divided either on the basis of ethnicity or sect etc etc. This divide does not exist between the common man but those are part of system, values it hence, the sorry state.

I can only point down the solution beside the criticism that one can't just get rid of them at once but there has to be a starting point to do so. Top level seating to be filled by patriots & unbiased officials. Recruitment process needs to be transparent & favouritism practices shall be discontinued by different methods. Those appointments on the basis of "LIST from BILAWAL House" shall be treated null & void. You know what, 90% appointments are being done only if you have someone inside Bilawal House at the time of appointments because, that is the place that submits finalized names while only 10% or less is being granted for merit. Political based appointments are the root cause of all the destruction.

I have seen people applying for ASI level jobs and they couldn't fill the form but there documents shows that all of them were holding at-least Masters Degree from Jamshoro University etc. On other hand, political leadership has created an excuse or I may say, a reason for such appointments as they are the voters and leadership has to fulfill the promise of jobs. Can you imagine such practices in any progressive society whereby system is being molded & altered to many levels merely that it can please the politicians for their vote bank? Ironically, people are being educated in the sense that only jobs can solve their problems while the rest of issues of society can go to hell and may be resolved by some miracle. Interestingly, there are very less people concern with real issues when it comes to elect the right leadership but majority interests the personal benefits and remain blinded. The State, I am not quoting current political leadership or anyone but State can only make the difference once it succeeds to break the shackles of political influence and for that, we may need some time but it has to be started. Currently, environment is perfect and only lacks the ability, capability, will & competence. The system exist and only needs enforced implementation and for that State needs reshuffling of heads those who are not serving the State. Sindh is the graveyard for any loyal & honest person and I am sorry to say but there are few corrupts in deep state that somehow sabotage the process. Once the bitter pill is swallowed, we will be seeing positive change. These white elephants shall be dealt with strict approach without any discount no matter who comes to rescue and if we leave all that to be done by politicians; sorry but the status will remain so & the same will cost us more exchequer money.

These corrupt bureaucrats felt threatened in one unit of the past and instead of implementing a beneficial provincial system, those wolves sat together & by consent came with a uncontrolled provincial system whereby, corrupts are all set to freely walk due to provincial system freedom. Those corrupts introduced this system so that many of them remain untouchables despite their loot & plundering hence, this day where we see less of solution to existing problems & issues growing bigger & bigger. The system as such was the base to give birth to the disintegration of State through different means allowing every corrupt be it the ethnic or sectarian terrorist reaching to power corridor or even, the economic terrorist making its way to the Assemblies.
Whoa!!! you wrote all this yourself?

Then you must be talking about the Sindh.. But tell me how on earth you can do that until the PPP is ruling? So your solution is very good on paper but not practical. We need to get rid of PPP govt in Sindh first.

I don't know whether to call it your ignorance or anything else. No offense, though.

How you draw the line to get rid of corrupt political leadership in Sindh? I would like to read solution beside criticism as what I said in previous post.

No, I was happy to see you write long post because I like to read. It sounds serious and constructive so good. No puns intended.

Any solution is bookish until you propose the details to implement it. As long as PPP is governing Sindh.. nothing can be done or make changes in the constitution undo 18th amendment and also make some conditions for the federal govt to intervene or even suspend the provincial govt for a duration. So who will bell the cat?

You are well informed about the rest of the country as well. I just quoted Sindh example to represent the years long infected bureaucracy that couldn't be corrected overnight but unfortunately, the will to bring the change is damning & not the delay in success. You know that fault lines from south to up-north and how most of them are concerned either with influence or luxuries. There are few among them that think as they are gods and running them and interestingly, those big heads treats corrupt politicians like sheep and call them as such from time to time in high level gatherings/parties.

People really need to know their rights that doesn't need blessings or favour of any politicians. Unfortunately, masses does not know their basic rights at all while on other hand, legal language is like a hill task for any commoner to understand then between the gap; there comes the opportunists/politicians taking advantage.

In my opinion, the first thing is to start with public awareness in broader aspects. Once, the masses are aware and in knowledge to differentiate between opportunists & deserving political leadership, things may start to turn into right direction and having public support is all what the State needs for reforms. Public Education/Awareness is much needed.

There are no short cuts to achieve long term beneficial results. Has to start from grass root level. The populace indeed. See above post.

Nowadays, I tend not to and that is just because, people have so much into political bantering instead of solutions & positive results - they get triggered because of political faces/persons and ignores the facts & reality - stoop to offending level instead of learning & understanding the solutions that society needs since long. WAJsal invited me to discussion so triggered my old hammer because of his seriousness into certain issues.

Well, I think of people Sindh as hostages taken by PPP and the feudal system which none has tried to break because it was against their interests. Even ZAB did not implement land reforms despite championing the rights of the poor.
Hence, I don't think that a meaning full change can be brought by just grass root and btw I suggest you to visit the place and live there for sometime to see how difficult it is for the poor 'manoos' to even vote against the feudal lord. Whole villages are punished for 'rebelling' against the feudal lords so federal intervention is necessary for 5-10 yrs.

This is the situation in Punjab which still even today is far better governed than Karachi

Ab soch lo Karachi ka kia haal hoga

Karachi ke sub se bari bad qismatiw he yehi hai it’s part of Sindh

There is no doubt that IK is the most honest person available to us.. but he should revisit his decisions before its too late..

He’s more focused on Kashmir right now and that’s totally fair. I believe Punjab police reform would be his 2nd year’s major goal.
This requires a great effort and a long time to see even a little change. This institution has been rotten to its cores.
Not an easy task at all

. .
Aur us sai barhi badqismati yeh hai k jo bhi Karachi sai vote laita hai woh kaam nahi karta

Clean Karachi jaisie campaign bhi jab siyasat ke nazar ho sakty hai to bus phir...
There are 3 major parties in Karachi and that’s another great problem to begin with.
There should be only 1 or 2 parties in power.

MQM kehty Karachi Sara humara hai. PPP kehty hai yeh sindh ka part hai or bum Bhutto zinda hai baqi ke kasar PTI pori kar Rahi
