I am totally out of the loop regarding the latest happenings, either through media or personal connections, so can't say anything. But looks unlikely that anything would happen.

A long march AFTER the appointment though might have yielded better results.

People come out when they see celebrities leading them. We need celebrities of the civil society leading the people. Cricket players (retired, or current), hockey players, actors, journalists, poets, writers, professors, businessmen, scientists, ulama (not fuzlandu type, but Mufti Taqi Usmani, Maulana Tariq Jameel, Shia Ulama, Barelvi Ulama) etc.. when these guys realize that they are also the pessengers of a sinking ship and that they should also play their part to save it, only then the common public will take it serious. That will be a real revolution. Until then, people will sit in the comfort of their homes and get humiliated either financially or physically.
