Let's not vote at all. All 3 are garbage... aren't there any new candidates or underdogs who are actually good and experienced.

You have to deal with the three no matter what. Even though IK has many short comings but its a better choice then PPP and PMLN. If you dont vote then all the jahil awam will vote for PPP and PMLN and then will you be happy?

Do we want to reach the point where we have to decide who is eligible for a vent and who isnt? And by what criteria? Money? Age? Status?
I could see this happening very soon in both pak and india...hardly another 15 days...our illiterate and indisciplined people deserve this.
People vote for freebies and selfish gains...building of govt hospitals has never been a demand by people...we can do nothing apart from watching the happenings...if we are unlucky we will be one of those killed by corona...but sooner or later we will acquire herd immunity.

Let's not vote at all. All 3 are garbage... aren't there any new candidates or underdogs who are actually good and experienced.
You cant have a change unless there is a change in people...people in govt are products of your society..as long as society is corrupt no govt can save you

I rather not go into politics, but think about it from a layman's point of view. End.

Alot of pattwaris are seen in this thread.
Corona is an pandemic spread across world.
Our health system was so miserable...its not imran khan to be blamed.he tried to educate people but dumb people never listens.he tried to facilitate through cash.
Countries with trillions of economy are failied.what u expect from a poor country.
Shame on who speak without logic.

I think it was Government's responsibility also to make sure the SOPs are enforced and followed. Which country lets its people do whatever they want? Why have police at all if you're not going to enforce law?
I agree but the government decided to open shops hoping people would follow SOP :
PM Imran appealed to the whole nation to follow the standard operating procedures laid out by the government for the safety of people. "If we see a spike in cases in certain areas, those areas will have to be put under lockdown again," he stressed, urging business and factory owners to act responsibly.

- then the shops open and SOPs were not followed,
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 36,736 and fatalities to 788 on Thursday, as buyers and traders’ willful disregard for the safety protocols has given the virus a free rein to infect and kill more.

- those shops are sealed but then court says to open them
The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday ordered authorities to reopen all shops and markets that had been sealed for violating social distancing guidelines to curb the spread of COVID-19, saying shopkeepers must be made to “understand the situation.”

People here on PDF saying that Government handled it well, but they didn't at all.
I agree with this part, (especially some fools in government tweeting about comparison with Sweden) but lets not forget also many sections of society (opposition, provincial, religious, media, etc) where many of them ignored social distancing and court declaring that this is not a pandemic in pakistan and business should open

Meanwhile, hundreds of youtube channels by know-it-all idiots followed by millions of Pakistanis are spreading stupidity that it's (a) a conspiracy, (b) nothing to worry about at all, (c) Pakistanis have a unique immune system that can take of coronavirus.
Very true, seems like every now and then some new individual appears on youtube as if they are experts

I think doctors and health experts should be on the decision table, I am afraid this corona crisis will go really bad in Pakistan

Am a govt officer i knw ka system kitna corrupted hai.pion sa la kar head tak sab corrupt ...IK cannt change till people dnt chnge themselves

Let's speak logic.

1. Lockdown was necessary for a limited period of time, we passed that so, so.

2. Lockdown open, enforce SOPs... where are our police and enforcement agencies. This is Government's responsibility.

3. You don't need trillions of dollars to enforce law. Other countries managed it times upon times well. Ask anyone abroad about how it was managed and compare it to how it was managed in Pakistan, the factor is not of money, it is of management.

4. Other countries are reaching stability, despite the fact the pandemic broke out in some countries later, they have passed the peak and are coming low. There tests graphs showed a stable increase, in Pakistan's graphs it seriously fluctuated, meaning they didn't trace well.

You got me wrong. I am not relieving public of responsibility. But is it not Government's responsibility to make use of police, Army if need be to enfroce these SOPs.

Tell the people. They will risk more than 2 weeks of coronavirus, maybe 5 years of jail.

Do Governments tell people that "please, don't loot, shoot or steal, follow law and order." Ofcourse not. You have to enforce it!

At the same time, take action against those spreading misinformation to MILLIONS of Pakistanis.

If courts are interfering, then declare a national emergency, do something. This is going to be bad. There won't be any peak if people don't follow SOPs.

I got what you meant. I agree that someone in authority should take control instead of leaving it all on public (who are not following guidelines), I was just showing some chain of events which happened.

If courts are interfering, then declare a national emergency, do something. This is going to be bad. There won't be any peak if people don't follow SOPs.
Probably you are right, though I am not aware of any indication of declaring an emergency (especially when the Court declared back in May that Covid is not a pandemic in Pakistan), the only thing I remember in one of IK's recent conference was he said they will seal an area if there is high infection rate, but I dont know how effective the government machinery is at this point to handle this overall

Spain, Peru, Brazil, Iran, Turkey, Italy, UK... and few more are either on peak or passed it.

In rest of the countries, the cases aren't even above 30,000 yet.

I am not saying lockdown is solution but... police, rangers were most active during lockdown but very little enforcements are there making sure SOPs are being followed.

Start fining, jailing and people will fall in line.

1. Government needs to enforce SOP by law enforcements.

2. Misinformation spreaders, especially on Youtube need to be arrested.

Only Nawaz could've saved Pakistan. He would've booked flights for all Pakistani's to his mansion on his private jet and his sons would've chauffered them from the airport. Mariam Nawaz would've cleaned their dirty feet as they entered the big gaudy mansion in the center of London.

they guy is lier ... thats not only limited to covid only ...
i was dumb to be PTI follower once

next in line is Shahid afridi
that will be again a failed venture of establishment , it seems establishment is not still serious to give this nation a leader of material,
