Military men are expected to be disciplined, polished and influential to get things done. For example, Air Marshal Arshad Malik turned out to be good choice for the post of CEO of PIA. Credit where due.

But there are no capable civilian administrators in the country? I recall Omer Sarfaraz Cheema as one. Why people like this man are not found and appointed in time? PM can also extend his support to a civilian administrator to make him strong in his role through direct contact if necessary.

GOP can also encourage administrative sciences specialists to apply for administrative positions.
