This picture just makes me feel sorry for anyone unfourtante enough to be facing an F-15E. This one just screams total and utter ground massacre.

For people who don't know what I mean this is the CBU-97 Sensor Fuzed Weapon look at what One of those can do:

Lack of space.. the jaguar needed to carry countermeasure mods as well..
So the brits decided to add the hardpoints on the overwing fences..
As far as my knowledge goes.. they are the only european operator of the type to use overwing hardpoints.

Jaguar was purely developed as a ground attack aircraft but its flying dynamics were so good that it could also engage in dogfights. So to not compromise on the hard points to carry ground attack weapons, two hard points were added on top of the wing to carry missiles.

Eurofighter:

6 AAMs + 4 1000 lb LGB + 3 fuel tanks

8 AAMs + 2 Storm Shadow + 2 1000 lb LGB + fuel tank

6 1000 lb LGB + 2 AAMs + fuel tank (it could take another 4 AAMs)

Mirage 2000

6 AAMs + Storm Shadow + 2 fuel tanks

Mirage-2000 is beautiful plane and Egypt like country should have concentrated more on it in the 1980s for Local production with French like the can produce it in three blocks of 75 planes in every five years.

Block-I: 75 Mirage-2000s from 1987-1991
Block-II:75 Mirage-2000s from 1992-1996
Block-III:75 Mirage-2000s from 1997-2001

And being less dependend on USA for F-16s this can also enable them to replace and sell their Mirage-Vs especially to PAF that loves old EU equipment which is out dating, PAFs love to buy such things. They can then look towards JV along with PAC and CAC on JF-17 to replace F-7, MiG-21s and F-5s from their fleet which they are now looking to do so with license production and may be some MiG-35s/Su-30 MKE(Egypt) to replace and add capability to F-4 Phantoms.

I think if Mil and kamov Corps. now look towards improving their designs(making it smooth) a bit and utilizing composites and some pilot friendly cockpit then it will going to sell like hot cakes.

That Mi-28 Havoc looks devastating.

In my four yrs on the -111, I have never seen weapons on the outermost hardpoints. Simple reason: They do not rotate.

Hardpoint - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On the F-111 not all hardpoints can be used if the plane is to operate with fully swept wings because of the narrowed spacing between pylons.
As the wings sweeps back, each hardpoint must remain in line with the fuselage or in line with the airstream from a different perspective. The two outermost hardpoints are at the smallest areas of the wings. There are simply too little room to install rotating mechanisms. As configured, this -111 will sortie to the target as shown.
