Good going but Bangladesh has a lot of unexploited potential in the form of human resource. Equal distribution of wealth and moving the population out of poverty can do the trick.

steady progress for BD.... economic takeoff stage fully established.

We need to bed in proper functioning institutions, develop better infrastructures and establish a working democracy to fully exploit our potentials.

I think, rather the BD economy remains in between the "Traditional Society" and "Preparation for Economic Take-off" stages and will remain so for a few decades. So far, only a very few pockets of development have been achieved. However, the country is doing fine against all the odds. I believe, a more rapid investment in building the physical infrastructure will cause the economy to develop faster and it will push the economy to enter the "Economic Take-off" stage in a shorter period of time.

Our defence budget should have been 5 billion dollar(2% of GDP) in this year. This is the bare necessity.

Yes, it should've been but it wasn't. As a result Myanmar took full advantage and sent over half a million refugees to Bangladesh.

This is a major policy, military and a strategic failure on the part of Bangladesh. Maybe it's the result of over-reliance on India by the Bangladeshi PM / military.
