What's new

Im of Bengali origin living in USA.

Doesn't apna bazaar have the stuff to make dhia balay and kebabs?
They do, but do you know any place that makes it well. My wife loves it, and I eat mostly American food (Halal stuff only of course) so I haven't noticed who makes what best.

What the best place on long island to get Dhia balay in Long Island or NYC area in general?; Lahore Kabab and Grill is the only place I really know, I mostly shop in Jackson heights

What’s Dhia Balay?

I believe there is a place in the north of Bellmore Ave which comes to mind. Jackson heights has the best in my opinion but it's kinda far.

Oh yea. Best place to get that is from my aunt's kitchen.

We call it dhai barei I think.

But there are Bengali places I think on Hillside Ave in Jamaica that sell it if its closer to you.
There was a place called Tikka Garden that had really good food but it closed down. Sagar might an alternative.
Not sure what the latest restaurants are.
