Still I hold PTI responsible for making its case weaker by not taking a prinipled stand on ECL law. Then PM for not conferring with another pillar of state i.e. Judiciary or CJP.

IK did confer with CJ in the begining of his tenure. What stopped IK to have a secret word with CJ over an informal tea to ask him just his thoughts on the matter and share his own even before holding the first meeting with his lot of "Shah say ziada Shah kay Ghulam" advisers.

Anyway, I already posted a comprehensive and detailed post and keep referring to it; Dearest PM, when you make a stand, make it on principles, when you show mercy plz dont show it at the cost of breaking those principles :

The point is: how can you ask SCP CJ Khosa and Justice Gulzar to give equal justice to poor, when to start with, you yourself went against the Law to allow rich Convict on ECL to leave due to misplaced mercy?

IK needs to settle this once and for all.

Bottom line is clear as daylight, he needs only to stand on principles and his decisions would start to fall in line with the asperations of people who love him, his voters and supporters who are worried for him that they want to see the IK who will never compromise on principles.

Whatever is happening right now I am 100% sure maryam will never be able to leave Pakistan now which is good. Remember childhood story Jin ki jaan totay mai hoti hie. If Nawaz will not come which I don't think he at one stage after 2 years or 3 he will come back otherwise he will loose his party big time. Things are not the same as before due to social media and all before elction all these things will be repeated in single video share by millions.

Exactly, I agree 100%. There is no doubt that LHC and courts in general have been hell bent on providing Justice to Sharif family, bringing up all kinds of legal excuses and stretching the law as much as possible to the kingpins family as well as other partners in crime.

The fact remains, everyone pressed the government from all sides and IK blinked, that does not change the fact that Sharif's are first rate criminals, masters of deceit and a lot of judges - their legacies still sitting in Courts - remain their stooges.

This speech by CJP was a poor defence to say the least. We did this and we did that - well, what about the common man? Can he get justice for cheap? Where are the reforms the previous CJP and you talked about?

MarasiMedia, Allies and implants within his own party were working towards this end. He blinkded...

And the FACT that NoorJudges have been making mockery of Justice is known to all Paks!

CJP forgot many things and chose to defend his instituition same as NAB chairman is doing...

Everyone is now hitting the wall.

My perspective is that there is now an existential choice infront of PakState... StatusQuo OR Idea of Pakistan.

In a way more burden now is on Establishment than IK.

IK must make a choice... the more he drags on... the more he will be ridiculed and more helpless he will become.

ForeignFundingCase is not only against PTI but also against NarcoLeague and PeePee ... if Election Commission doens't show equality then we would know how StatusQuo is winning or loosing...

Same goes for FuzlaGangsters ... if ElectionCommission / FBR doesn't ask him to provide proofs of funding and financiers for their march... then we will know... SCP can the prove its worth?????

In a way there are two options... either let the plotters topple his government in Punjab first and then in the Centre

or start creating momentum against the Nizam first...and after a few months pull the plug on the present MarasiParliment .... create public pressure on NAB and courts to convict the corrupt, force PleaBargain by all means necessary!!!!

By remaining glued to chair for the sake of it... would destroy his life long work and efforts...

It is close to impossible for IK to confront the Establishment, which is the real lynchpin, in this whole scenario. Only mistake, which IK made was that he took the executive decision of granting relief to Noora. He should have left the matter to judiciary, who would ultimately, in any case, had done this job. Then, implementing the judicial decision, would not have caused the political damage. But, we should expect such stupidities from IK, even in future.

PMLN lot can openly direct and threaten the judges and get away (bar one disqualified) but IK asks judges to implement The Hadith and the CJP responds in negative - what amazing transformation since 2009.

I completely agree with yourself.

Judging by the track record after Panama to keep winning legal and political space only to concede it due to lack of focus on key legal issues which were completely abandoned to be sorted between NAB, Judges like Arshad Malik and Accused...I had time and again posted that this amounts to conceding space to criminals, as much as self destruct nenegligence.

If only Allah Subhan Taala's merciful help can make the Government learn from its mistakes.

IK has little choice but to change his current advisers or start making up his own mind about the way forward.

But instead we find FIA letting go of even the self exposed PMLN Stooges responsible for judge video scandal, who fled to London soon after, why he was not put on ECL? Lack of focus.

Let's hope the Government finds time to assign this task to agencies and keep focus to catch such scoundrels in time from now on, even the revelations that came to light about Justice Essa family undeclared assets were accidentally discovered.

Beg to differ. Removal from ECL was IK 's own decision admittedly due to mercy (for rich convict? hence misplaced), IK himself said majority of cabinet was against letting go but I said let's show mercy. If IK was forced by COAS then he could have side stepped and left the decision up to high court to decide instead of allowing Nawaz to go if he submits indemnity. Mamo bana kar chala gaya hukomat ko...
