Right now im thinking that for my survival strategy the Ruger 10/22 is the best. Its light, i can carry alot of ammo and I can hunt many types of game including 2 legged game if necessary.

ruger 10-22 now comes in a takedown model too, do can fit in a bag pack, additionaly there also is the folding Keltec SU16 series which accepts stanag mags , if you want more punch
