I think what Dar was trying to say here was that chicken was cheaper than pulses as a boast of his government's economic performance, but it did not come across in quite the manner that he intended.

Again, just spilling out B.S. The prices you just quoted, even they are too much for the common man to afford. More than 60% of the population lives below $1 a day, you honestly think they can afford chicken at Rs200. There is a reason why so many of our children are malnourished, its simply because they can't afford proper nutrition. Look at the electricity bills, gas bills, you load up 100 Rupees on your phone card and Rs40 are deducted for taxes. Afreen hai aap ki soch par, lagta hai kaafi haram ka paisa aap nay khaya hai. If you call this inflation, than i think you need to get your head checked, although i think its too late for that.
