Who cares about India? India can go to hell for all we care. What we want is a secure, prosperous Pakistan and for that we need strong backing of a Super Power and hundreds of Billions of USD. We can seal our border with Afghanistan, mine the entire area and let the back stabber deal with their own problems.





Chinese help over the years, although appreciated, has not converted or translated into meaningful support. US support for 5 years changes direction of our country whereas Chinese support for the past 15-20 years hasn't contributed as meaningfully as we all had expected. Even CPEC has yet to start benefitting us as we all expected. For how long can be stay aligned to the Chinese for petty support? On the contrary, if the US decides to help us all out, we can **** India in the *** and contain Afghan insurgency amongst other problems in our region!

The airspace agreement was done in writing in 2011, and at that time was also reviewed by raza rabbani of ppp.

It will be ammended or most likely will not be renewed. It is near expiration i think dont know the exact date.

Cant do nothing about that till the written agreement is valid.

We are still not as useless as some people/countries would have you believe. We are very important when matters of the Middle East or East Asia are concerned; so much so that we are at times in positions to make and/or break many international conspiracies and cooperation in the aforementioned regions, amongst others.

But, we have to find common ground with the Americans. Either that or we tell the Chinese that we expect more, a lot more from them than what has been coming. I mean I am all for our Chinese friends but how much has their contribution really helped us? From UNSC decisions to FATF and from Finance to Commerce. On the contrary, if we had similar relations with the US, none of our citizens would be on the global terrorist list, we would not be in the grey list, lenders would be lining our doors with favorable offers, and if we really wanted even our trade would be better with the US, Canada, Australia and Europe etc.

And I am not saying we abandon the Chinese, there was a time when we brought China and the US together through back-door diplomacy. We can play a balancing part again, just like we are doing with Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Fair enough. Although, I seriously doubt the 'vast majority' part especially when the same 'vast majority' dreams every day of migrating to the US.

Unfortunately, choosing 1 powerful country over the other has its consequences and I believe we have been victims of the consequences for a good 10-15 years now. But good luck to your 'vast majority' whereas in reality it is the 'silent' majority that suffers through it all.
