all i want to know is why pak dint attack India in 1962 itself ?

Pakistan viewed China as a threat back then, as a matter of fact, Ayub Khan even offered jointly addressing the Chinese threat to Nehru. Which Nehru dismissed scornfully.

sorry but Bangladesh is not Pakistan's 50% landmass
Bangladesh is 143,998 sq km (55,598 sq miles)

Pakistan is mainland 796,095 sq km (307,374 sq miles), + Pakistani-administered Kashmir (83,716 sq km/32,323 sq miles)

= 879,811 sq km or 339,697 sq mi
Pakistan 879,811 /Bangladesh 143,998 = 6.109883470603758

Pakistan is more then 6 times the size of Bangladesh

But Pakistanis say India is 10 times its size right? And we also happen to be 10 times Bangladesh's size. So shouldn't Pakistan mainland be the size of Bangladesh (if I follow your fellow countrymen's logic that is)

Is that why India accepted the ceasefire a day earlier then Pakistan? Is that why Shastri had a fatal heart attack? Son, just because there are over 1.2 Billion Indians, their words do not become facts! And as far as 'Neutral' assessments go, there were 'assessments' declaring heavy losses on Indian sides too whereas India rejected 'neutral' arbitration!!!!



Even this is stupid propaganda.....all Pakistan ever wanted was Kashmir, all of it.

Does it really matter who accepted the ceasefire first? Pakistan attacked Kashmir, failed to make any real gains, and then turned the halting of the Indian counter-attack into a national holiday. Which neutral assessments? There are millions, most claim Pakistan to be the loser.

Thankfully China did attack India in 1962, other wise today's India would be very different. Nehru wanted India to be a welfare socialist state which will only concentrate on economic development and quality of life. He also led the Non Alignment movement. He never wanted India to build nuclear weapons or missiles, even though China was already building ICBMs immediately after independence. We wasted due to lack of vision. But anyhow today India knows what to do.

Now Pakistan would have won or not can't say dont know the capability of Pakistan army at that time.
