Well, its first time when Syrian army admits that its them who fired towards Israel.

DAMASCUS — In a marked upsurge in both rhetoric and purported action, the Syrian military said it destroyed an Israeli vehicle that crossed the ceasefire line in the Golan Heights.

A statement issued by the Syrian Armed Forces on Tuesday said its troops destroyed the vehicle “with those in it.” It did not elaborate, but said any attempt to infiltrate Syria’s territory will face “immediate and firm retaliation.” The statement marked a newly aggressive Syrian tone following two reported Israeli airstrikes on targets in Damascus earlier this month. After numerous incidents of cross-border fire in the past two years, this marked the first instance in which Syria acknowledged shooting across the border into Israel.

Israel did not directly respond to the Syrian claim, but earlier Tuesday the IDF Spokesperson’s Office said that an Israeli jeep on patrol was hit by light weapons fire, causing slight damage to the vehicle, and that the army responded by shooting a long-range Tamuz rocket at the source of the attack and reported a “direct hit.”

Chances that will attack after uprising are even much much lower, because it will be a second front for them. And Assad cant help them as he helped in 2006.

Another factor that decreases chances of Hezbollah attack is that Iranian economy now is in serious trouble. They dont have money to finance Hezbollah war and rebuilding after the war.

unlikely, Hezballah is a tool in the hands of Iran, it will be used when Iran need's it. Hezballah is one of the few cards Iran can use for threats against Israeli offensive moves in Iran or against the Assad regime (the previous strikes were against Heballah and arms shipments to it[/QUOTE][/QUOTE] not against Assad).

I guess done you are not. I wouldn't call Cornet missiles, the best AT missiles produced by Russia at the time, and c-802 poor equipment. The rockets they have might not be high tech, but that doesn't matter when you target cities for terror effect instead of targeting military infrastructure.
Sure they had no tanks or planes, but that doesn't matter when your strategy is guerrilla warfare and stalling.
I doubt you'll find anyone who knows anything about Hezballah who calls them ragtag either.
That said Israel deployed very small forces past the border for almost all of the war only beefing numbers up in the last week.
