Guys how is BORA different from Yildirim missiles and why is media calling it "first Turkish home made ballistic missile" when we already have Yildirim with greater range?

Bora's range isn't known. Kaan has twice the range of Yildirim while being a similar size.

Of course both derived from the ToT we gained through B611.

But i want to remind you that B611 has a range of 150 km. Roketsan engineers doubled the range while keeping the dimensions almost same as the B611. That's a quiet feat.

One visible trend is the re-use of components to meet different mission needs. Since the CM-400AKG air-to-surface missile appeared at 2012’s edition of the Zhuhai show, it has gathered a lot of attention as a high-supersonic anti-ship weapon. This year, the exhibit strongly suggested that it shares its solid rocket motor and warhead with the surface-to-surface SY400 ballistic missile, and a passive radar seeker with the new B611MR semi-ballistic anti-radiation missile. The B611MR, in turn, has a common motor and controls to the 175-mile-range M20 GPS/inertially guided missile—China’s equivalent to Russia’s Iskander—and both are intended to use the same mobile launcher and command-and-control system as the CX-1. Lots of interchangeable parts: That is how China can roll out so many missile types so quickly.

Bora and Khan are brothers actually. Bora has 360 km max range and for Turkish Millitary. Khan is the export version and has 260 km of max range. All other specs are the same.

Also note that Yildirim-III has a range of 900 km range

I have talked about the EIRS, and yesterday actually mentioned it here shortly, We will definetly see longer ranges in very near future, the engineer told to have gained the tech. pool to make better radars dependent on the request of TSK.

As for Akkor, i will write the answer later.

Edit: For example the current range of EIRS could easily be extended.

Could you please ask about the latest situation of Akkor hard kill system? Additions to EIRS long range radar, There is a new project called very long range radar. If you receive something about them, It will be a perfect input.

I asked a man who was standing near Eirs how much its range was. He hesitated to answer me. But I said him I think its rage should be 500km. and he confirmed me.
