Ideas to Begin a welfare Nation Concept in Pakistan

When I write something, I never think what Arabs think about, or Turks think about, or Afghans think about. I consider what will Please Allah and His Prophet Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam.

That is the problem with you guys living outside of pakistan, you always "care" about every mofo in the name of muslim and what not, back in pakistan no one gives a f*** even about the people living in the next village, forget about other countries. I am also living outside of pakistan but I haven't changed because I have always been like the majority of pakistanis which means being indifferent to everyone (muslim or non-muslim doesn't matter) with whom you don't share some kind of immediate relationship or friendship.

I understand and I respect you viewpoints on that but let's be realistic on that we saw how ineffective OIC is how about this we get the powerful Muslim countries with economic and political leverage in a block that could be a start

The reason why the diaspora feels this is way is climate towards recent mass migration waves and certain foreign policy decisions if you ask me our diaspora sucks the people in Pakistan are better than diaspora our diaspora is probably the most self hating diaspora in the planet

First of all my views have not changed. I had the same views when I was in Pakistan. But they certainly have become more informed. When you receive a friendly smile from a Muslim working at the convenience store, when someone refuses to charge you a profit because you are a fellow Muslim, when someone takes your side because you are a Muslim, and when some lumps you together with all the rest of the Muslims out there, you realize you are part of something larger than just Pakistan. I have experienced the love and respect from Muslims originating from Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and all of Middle East. You meet a Turkish Muslim and as soon as they see know you are from Pakistan they call you brother. Too bad you have never had such experiences.

@Simurgh

Why are you lumping the entire diaspora with your own identity crisis?

I have many experience with people but I don't care whether they are muslims or non-muslims, as immigrant it doesn't play any role in my life. If someone is good with me I will be good with him whether muslim or non-muslim, if someone will be bad with me I will be bad with him whether muslim or non-muslim. Most of my friends here have been my class fellows who were mostly arabs from jordan, kurds, turks and palestine but I also had friends in the past belonging to other nationalities like ethopians, ukrainians, chinese, nepalese, hungarian, polish, colombian, panama, italian and off course germans.

Thanks. That means me. I am "common Muslim". Yipeeeee yeeeee.

"Yes"

Now I get to decide. Bravo ...
it is compulsory for every muslim man and woman to have basic knowledge of Quran at least. we can never be fooled by anyone if we ourselves know what's there in Quran and what does it mean. we can easily judge when someone is twisting religion for his own nefarious designs. but we all have given this responsibility to others and then blame them when they take us away from the right path.

What is so funny about this childish proposition of yours?

The thing we trip on is very simple. Do we -

  • stand by Pakistani state
  • stand by global Muslims
This is the big question and that needs resolving. Everything follows from this. If we stand by Pakistani state then we should ignore the Chinese opression of Uighur Muslims. If we stand by global Muslims then we must stand by all Muslims across the globe including Ughurs in China etc etc.

@Numerous

I'm not asking for an all out war against China or anything of that sort. That is something many of you severely misunderstand.

Yes standing for global Muslims is a must, however this doesn't mean you throw yourself into every conflict without thinking or planning. You might really dislike the concept of an ummah but it is a part of Islam.

What kind of relationship is there between pakistan & china if the Pakistani government can't even say something about them putting 100,000s of Muslims into camps? Are we their slaves or what? Some of you are saying that caring about others makes you a cuckold but I think you guys who are willing to become chinese laptops fit that definition more than anyone else. And don't get me wrong, I don't call people cuckolds, it's just you guys bought it up first and I feel the need to comment on it.

You also make it out as if this is like some big massive issue when it's really not. Yes Pakistan every now and then helps Muslims out but since when do we actually do this often (other than charity or aid?). The last time we provided excessive military aid to a far off region was what - like bosnia? 20+ years ago. Sure we helped the taliban too but they're on our doorstep and it's in Pakistan's interest to do that. I think we might've provided Saudi some support in yemen too but that is negligible.

That is the problem with you guys living outside of pakistan, you always "care" about every mofo in the name of muslim and what not, back in pakistan no one gives a f*** even about the people living in the next village, forget about other countries. That's not true. Pakistanis back home do care about other Muslims, not everyone in Pakistan is like some of you guys on this thread.
