Ideas to Begin a welfare Nation Concept in Pakistan

Honestly i dont mind all that Pakistan should care about the Muslim world and its issues and lead it thats the idea LEAD IT

but we are too busy importing ideas horrible ideas at that , weather be it wahabism from the Gulf or shia retardedness from Iran and god know what from where we gaining spiritual healing from somewhere else not from our own homeland

I swear the rest would be traveling the galaxy and we would be still debating how to impalement "true" Islam in Pakistan

OP is right here

And some others lack vision. How about we adopt the vision that we will solve our own problems and those of the Ummah as well?

I would not mind but first let's build Pakistan foreigners and foreign nation will only take you seriously when you have money rest will fall over place

. .
and that's the first step towards hell fire. trust me. you take this step and you will be having tough time in next world.
what next world ? the one we dont have any evidence of? the one that exists in mythologies and stories of ancient texts?do you have proofs of that world's existence? atleast this world is real and exists. and in this world, separation of state from religion has always resulted in much better results than any other theocratic ideology

. .
What is so funny about this childish proposition of yours?

The thing we trip on is very simple. Do we -

  • stand by Pakistani state
  • stand by global Muslims

@Numerous

I don't know about others but when I was growing in pakistan I always felt allegiance only to my country Pakistan, I never gave a damn about other countries whether muslim or non-muslims. I believe in modern nation states, they are a reality even if they look "artificial" to us in historical background because in the past there was no concept of nation states particularly in our region.

I never liked the brain washing about considering the problems of all muslims/people living in the rest of the world as our problems even though our books were filled with such BS material in school, college etc. Media I mean PTV (that was only thing that we had at that time) was also always trying to make problems happening in bosnia, palestine, chechnia etc. as "our" problems but I never considered them my problems even though I was just a teenager at that time. I think you either have self-pride or you don't have it, it has nothing to do with age, some people are born as cuckolds and care more about others problems than sorting their own problems. I still don't give a f*** to any people (muslim or non-muslim) in other countries particularly those living in india, afghanistan, iran and china our four neighbors, whatever happens there is none of my concern.

I wish we had more folks like you in Pakistan tbh and you are 90s boy I guess nothing really changed in the 2010s like said Pakistanis are gullible folks we think every Muslim country is with us try travelling to Ankara,or Istanbul with Green Pakistani passport and see the treatment from our "brothers" I like Turkey but they are no way close to us culturally they are just as alien like the Chinese

You don't know we have always been khudai faujdar, I remember in 1994 in school one of my teacher in weekly assembly on thursday used to praise some "mr. Dudayev" who was the chechen resistance symbol at that time rebelling against russians. Our teacher used to say we should be proud of mr. "Dudayev" or you can call him "muhammad daud sahab" :omghaha::omghaha:, yes those were the words of our teacher in our government school.

You mean Dzhokar Dudayev the ex Soviet General that became the self Reconized President of Chechnya who was killed by Yeltsin orders by a air strike damn I guess Pakistani schools were good shoving down stuff like that but its such a turnaround Russia is no longer the enemy in the Pakistani public or state and Putin well liked despite his action in Chechnya in the late 1990s do tell more stories tho

Yes I think you are righ it was Dzhokar Dudayev.

No I think it was Daudov who was a resistance symbol against russians in chechenya in 1994, I wrongly wrote him as president. He was a 14 year old young chechen mujahid at that time. I think it was this guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magomed_Daudov.

Oh I see anyways I get your point in 2019 we still care about others than ourselves sigh when will we learn

I think you were right, it was Dzhokar Dudayev because I remember our teacher used to call him president of chechenya and he cannot be 14 years old at that time.

We seriously need mindset change I mean take a look at Kashmir do you think MBS,Xi,Or Erdogan will send our troops to liberate Kashmir doubt

Yes Islamic laws and judiciary according to whose understanding? Brelvi, Deobandi? Sunni or Shia? How about keep religion out of state? Haven't Pakistan been damaged enough from giving religious clerics so much power? You're telling Pakistanis to surrender to ''Islamic'' clergy, well you might as go live in caves. I heard Afghanistan did great during Taliban rule no sports, no women allowed outside without their male guardians, no radio, no schools or science. But what do I know, I hear many Pakistanis aspire to make Pakistan exactly like that.

Shows how little you know if you think there is a difference in shariah in accordance to barelvi or deobandi. Shariah is flexible enough to judge a Christian by Christian law and a jew by Jewish law, but apparently it can't handle Shia or sunni? Why not learn the deen before deciding you are it's enemy?

1. Open up a forum for public feedback and referendum for local, regional and National issues. Form a committee which monitors and processes such feedback while forwarding them to decision making authorities.

2. Financial support made accessible for the elderly living with their children as well as in institutions, just an EOB fund is not enough since not everybody can qualify for it.

3. Steps to ensure that mandatory health related saving accounts are created in banks from salaries of employees.

4. Give option to patients to choose the doctor and the hospital they want to get medical facilities from.

5. Make private schooling affordable to masses by enabling everyone to choose between competing private schools by analyzing income of parents/guardians.

6. Minimize tax threshold on parents with two children or one child. Offer incentives and benefits such as concession in bills, travelling tickets, medical facilities etc.

7. Amend constitution to limit borrowing from IMF and other institutions under criteria of certain thresholds of budget deficit and total debt values.

8. Just like compulsory health saving accounts, create mandatory pension accounts for all earning members of country which can be accessed at 60 years of age (e.g. 5-7% of salary), on lines of social insurance.

9. Make housing cheaper through supply-demand cycle. Supply should be improved by an improved planning system.

PTI I actually doing a lot of these things with the health insurance cards and national housing policy. The rest are great suggestions.

I'd like to add we need an economic census to understand everyone's financial needs.

the true understanding of Quran should be made compulsory for all pakistanis. we seriously lack grooming. we can only make progress when we adopt principles of islam in true letter and spirit in every walk of life. our economic system , judiciary, government, laws, education system etc every thing should be according to islam. if we call ourselves muslims then there is NO OTHER WAY we can make progress.
i am sure many people wont like this idea.

OP listed actual practical ideas, not just ideals. What you've said is fair, but please mention practical steps.

Some people intentionally try to show as if people in pakistan fight on daily basis on barevli/deobani/wahabi stuff, believe me there is no such thing, 95% of the beliefs and practices are same, there is 5% difference but people here always try to make it like there is 5% agreement and 95% difference and we have fights on 95 issues out of 100 issues which is not the case at all.
