Like Avro which made CF-100 and the then very advanced CF-105, IAI made Kfir which was widely exported and the then very advanced Lavi. Lavi was canceled like CF-105 was. IAI made no more plane after that like Avro made no more plane after that.

This is the aircraft that is now called J10............it really was advanced enough a/c to be compared to the contemporary a/c of for its era, It is known generally that J10 is equal to the F16 blk 40/45 And J10B is equal to Blk 50/52 plus!

If this is really true then Israelis did a good job in making an f16 equivalent 6 years after its was introduced.
But alas, American AID and weapons for Israelis were more important then their own countrymen's hardwork.
