IAF R-73/R-77 AAMs recovered from Mig-21 wreckage l Abhinandan did not fire any missile

tried .... but no result found ...
can you try to review the video and find the second R-77? if you have time on hand....am caught up with work....so can't review footage till midnight....above pics show just one R-77 & two R-73 .....

@Myth_buster_1 thanks for your effort but the end piece could be of same R-77 ?
 
any idea on this? doesn't look like a r73 to me

Maybe. But if it is the same missile than one part is so much burnt and distorted and other parts dont even lose much color? Its doesnt seem right to me.

F16D most likely - :wacko:. Don’t know why u guys even discount that possibility completely. Forcing Abhi to say he was looking for targets when he was shot by Pak authorities makes this even more plausible.

I believe 1 R-77 and 1 R-73 came from same wing which took less damage while the other wing payload took more damage.

any idea on this? doesn't look like a r73 to me

thats R-73, burnt down,

Both pictures of the same pylon from different angle? However, confirms that 2xR73 are found. One in good condition while second was burnt with wreckage & remained intact to Pylon.

Yes....that is correct. There is one long tube - white color, i believe it is from one of the Missile ...but it is not R77 or R73...that is for sure, given the length of it

Much bigger and looks like R-77
