Uttam isn't codeveloped. It'll get an aesa but from abroad.


Anyway, this order is nothing new. It was in the pipeline. And it's HALs project not ada-drdo.

The load capacity should be 5T+ once its ready.

The ferry range is a little over 2500Km. That's 3 hours of flight time.

What about the engine IAF purchase 20(IOC)+20(FOC)+83(MKA) Which mean all come with GE-F404.
What about 99 F414 engine which India already order in 2010.

it mean the total order: 123+99

tender means money will come from IAF kitty so its a done deal now, congrats to HAL, now IAF should keep a big stick with them to keep HAL babus on a tight rope for delivery of planes.
