But that was due to PAF mainly playing a air to air role where as IAF had most of its missions around ground support, helping Indian Army its goals. And we all know how that went

IAF lost 60-70 aircraft, of which 35 were lost to anti-aircraft fire. PAF lost anywhere between 3 (Yup, I've seen Pakistani Youtubers say that only 3 were lost, , to upto 90 as claimed by you).

No.. British India broke up and Present day India and Pakistan were formed in 1947 as a part of Independence deal from British. In 1971, present day Pakistan was broken up by India to form Bangladesh..
