IAF fighters makes first staging visit to KSA!o

. . . .
LOL

Sire FYI, Pakistan took the initiative to help Islamists in 1975 before Saudis figured out what was going on and ISI was waging a proxy war against Soviets in Afghanistan when CIA thought that it was useless to engage Soviets in Afghanistan.

You have grossly underestimated our will to take on enemies including super powers on our own.

Pakistan would have waged a covert war in Afghanistan with or without Saudi help.

Another tid bit is that Saudi youngsters got killed in Afghanistan, not ISI agents.

Afghan people.

Others including Saudis and Pakistanis were a minority.
You wanted an example, I gave you one, irrespective of who were majority and minority. Not only Pakistani mujahideen, but also Pakistani regulars. Now see it the way you like it.

Damn!!!!!!!!!!!
I was right. Zaid Hamid got arrested because RAW had infiltrated the Saudi Establishment.

Yessssssssssssss. I have finally exposed the grave conspiracy hatched against our great warrior Zaid Hamid.
--------------------------
Listen very carefully Indians. Now it would become easier for Field Marshall Sir Zaid Hamid to launch Ghazwa-e-Hind right from his prison cell. No need to go to India.

Don't take this wrong. But in "current situation" looks like China is the only trusted ally of Pakistan .

The very basic mistake is still there. Pakistan has not made relations as equals, be it KSA, US or even Shah ruled Iran. These countries looked for their own interests, while giving money or helping Pakistan with something. In return they expected services from Pakistan. When they did not get any, they got annoyed. That's what happens when you don't clearly set the expectations.

The same mistake is being repeated with China now.

I'd love to see those KSA-loving Pakistanis who are bashing Iran 24/7 solely for having economic relations with India, this is getting very interesting. Of course, I'm sure you can't usually find them in threads like this. Now I see your 'true' friend, the one who has always 'helped you in hard times', is hosting Indian Air force in order to, as stated in article, give the Indo-Saudi relations a boost.

@OTTOMAN @Zarvan @rockstar08 @Akheilos and others whom I may have forgot. I remember your posts very well about how Iran has 'back-stabbed' Pakistan. Now it's time to wake up to this harsh reality, Iran will be your least of concerns.

Saudis were good to Pakistan as long as Pakistan followed 'their interests'. Now the immediate signs of refusing to be their paid army in Yemen are starting to show off.

@Horus, what's your take on this?
same thing i was abt to ask, how r u viewing yr friend n ally India boosting its relations with yr arch rival?

First, read my entire post.
Second, don't give bogus examples.
Third, don't talk about something about which you have no idea.
. Now see it the way you like it.
I am seeing it the way it was whereas you are seeing it the way you like, moreover it is evident that you do not know jacksht about Afghan war.

India is not our ally, go check a dictionary and see the meaning for ally and business partners. And we don't mind what India does, because they do what's necessary for their interest and it won't harm us in any way.

Very maturely. It is none of their concern, and they know that. India is also very friendly with Israel, who are also Iran's arch rivals.

It's interesting to note that Iran doesn't care a whit about IAF visiting Saudi Arabia, even though Saudis are Iran's rivals, but Pakistanis are feeling insecure.

Didn't matter, you voted YES to get them sanctioned.
And then did our best to undercut those very sanctions. Actions are more important and consequential than an agreement on paper. So what, if India voted one way, as long as India not only did not enforce those sanctions, but actively undermined it?

Check out the Iranian ambassador's statement last week, if you want to know what Iranians think about the issue.

Please go read a book. Don't quote me again. Waste of time.

Not Pakistanis, but Nicaraguans fought in Afghanistan. There was no ISI there, but Disney channel, no Black Storks but the Salvation army, and no Saudi money but ISCKON gurus giving away tickets for Metallica concert, happy ?

Wow, that's way out of proportions mate. I don't know what they are telling you about this port development, are you serious bro?

Didn't I write here multiple times that: Iranian constitution forbids any form of foreign military base on Iranian soil?

You really thought we will let any country use our soul against Pakistan in times of war? Unbelievable.

You have to understand the mentality of the people you are trying to convince. For self respecting nations, needing a foreign military base on their soil to feel secure, would be very insulting. If the govt of India allowed a foreign base in the country, there would be hell to pay. (It won't happen in anybody's wildest dreams.) But that mentality is not shared by everybody. There are thousands of posts by Pakistanis on the forum, yearning to lease Gwadar port to China. For them, it's a great accomplishment, to lease out their sovereignty to stronger and better powers. The USA used to (maybe still do) fly their aircrafts and drones from Shamsi airbase in Pakistan. You would be really amused to see how much they want China to rent Gwadar and base naval vessels there. A Chinese sub docked in Karachi a month ago, and it was a huge celebrator moment for Pakistanis, who hope that it is a first step to a Chinese base on their soil.

So you have to bear that mentality in mind, when you hear Pakistanis expressing concerns about India having a military base in Iran. It doesn't occur to them that

a) That would be very unpleasant for self respecting nations.

b) Other countries can actually build ports and railways and highways for trade and development and prosperity, and militarism is not the be all and end all of our priorities, like it is for them.

c) India has no need whatsoever to build naval bases in Iran to deal with Pakistan. A glance at a map will explain why - it's not like India can use Iran to refuel and replenish ships on the way to Pakistan - Iran is actually farther away than Pak.
