IAF fighters makes first staging visit to KSA!o

I'd love to see those KSA-loving Pakistanis who are bashing Iran 24/7 solely for having economic relations with India, this is getting very interesting. Of course, I'm sure you can't usually find them in threads like this. Now I see your 'true' friend, the one who has always 'helped you in hard times', is hosting Indian Air force in order to, as stated in article, give the Indo-Saudi relations a boost.
Do you believe friendship with Iran and ksa both is not possible? And honestly, Iran blocked Pakistan's attempt to cut off India in oic, the end result was India back stabbed Iran by voting to sanction your country, served Iran right honestly.

What is wrong here ? Please bother to explain as for Saudis many of our weapon deals are paid by them we survived because of Saudi money in 1998. Saudis have been of great help to us. As for Yemen we provided them what they wanted, the drama which was done here was for public consumption so Mr know facts. @Serpentine

A exercise makes you think they are getting close Grow up mate seriously. As for KSA even right now many weapons you ate buying is being paid by KSA

More and more, I read your comical responses, more I get to understand the psychi of extremist, who almost destroyed Pakistan to please Arabs.

Yes what you provided them we know as for no I have no love for Saudis I am equally pissed when they keep their mouth shut on mass murder of Muslims in Gaza and Palestine. But they have been of massive help to us.

.
You don't use baazari language in diplomacy to show that you have a pair. As for territorially integrity, we have a mutual defence pact with them.
And as far as I remember we did not even care to say that when they asked for our help in Syria. Yemeni crises happened 2 years later.

Have the folks in the bazaar got to speaking Angrezi nowadays? That will be progress, then.

However, all the Mutual Defence pacts that KSA has are simply to garner rentier Armies to fight for them. The reason for that; I've already explained above.

@OTTOMAN @Zarvan @rockstar08 @Akheilos and others whom I may have forgot. I remember your posts very well about how Iran has 'back-stabbed' Pakistan. Now it's time to wake up to this harsh reality, Iran will be your least of concerns.

Saudis were good to Pakistan as long as Pakistan followed 'their interests'. Now the immediate signs of refusing to be their paid army in Yemen are starting to show off.

@Horus, what's your take on this?

KSA is a very important economic partner of India & such cooperation BTW the 2 countries should be promoted having said that it does not effects our vibrant relationship with Iran

Like India getting thousand soldiers killed for Sirilanka.

Not really.... it was not a MDP there. India wanted to exercise leverage, control and power in that area, that process had different manifestations at different times. In the KSA-Paksitan, arrangement; there is no similar aspect. It is one sided or lop-sided to the other side.

Ok mr. Big mouth, how about you hosting them in our backyards, you are no different to them, frankly speaking we recognised your true face few decades back and now in the process of doing the same with them, indirectly it's good for PAF as quite a few numbers of PAF personnel so serve in SRAF.

The big mouth belongs to someone who thinks everyone is backstabbing them, while it's harming neighbors indirectly itself. How about you man up and face your problem like man once? Instead of making nanny excuses and blaming others.

I don't give a flying damn about India-Saudi relations and it doesn't concern me at all, my whole point is, exposing true face of those Saudi-loving gang who are bad mouthing Iran 24/7 because of having economic relations with India. It's not your business who we are dealing with, the same ways it's not our business if Pakistan has relations with U.S or Saudis.

I never said Saudi was a saint just coz I said Iran has taken turns in the past....

Apart from Turkey and China I dont have any bids on either Iran nor Saudi....I dont say anything about them is because they arent transparent 1 min they are smiling next min they stab ya....Iran is no better either....Afghan the same...

That's right, countries do what's in their interests, it's up to Pakistan to do the same. You can't tell us what to do and we can't tell you what to do.

The most stupid thing one can do is trying to keep every living thing satisfied. For years, the whole 'Muslim ummah' crap has backstabbed us hundreds of times, so give me one single reason on why we should give a damn what others think anymore? Everyone tries to say 'Iran did this, Iran did that', but if you look at decisions your leaders made in past decades it's 'them' who screwed up Pakistan's security, by messing with Afghan security and also taking Saudi money and closing their eyes and promoting an ideology that is now spread like a virus in region.

Blame us all you want, but at the end, you should wake up to this harsh reality that 'your' leaders made those decisions, not ours and you are responsible for your problems not Iran.

Despite the love and appreciation I hold for common Pakistanis and its founding father and ideals, I won't spare a second to stand up against their argument that Iran is to blame for their problems and closing their eyes on Saudis (and their own leaders) and thousands of Madrassas and equating Iran's role with that of Saudis. I won't accept that.

Please don't take any offense if I'm being straight forward, it would make things easier.

Are you sure it's "mutual"?

Do you really envision Saudi Arabia sending soldiers and tanks if Pakistan's sovereignty is violated? If so, I have a bridge to sell you.

Do you believe friendship with Iran and ksa both is not possible?

Of course it is possible, ask India. In fact, friendship with Iran and Saudi and Israel is possible, if you know not to poke your nose in their mutual issues.

That is so simplistic. With or without sanctions, India was one of the biggest consumers of Iranian hydrocarbons, and one of the biggest exporters of petrochemical, pharmaceutical and agricultural products to Iran. We did everything in our power to circumvent the sanctions, and went so far as to establish a fictitious "bank" (UCO bank) to trade currency with them. Our actions undercut and undermined the effects of western sanctions. The Iranian ambassador acknowledged that openly last week.

I'm pretty sure that Iranians are smart enough to figure out who the dependable friends are, despite the aspersions from Pakistanis.

Does anyone remember Pakistani airforce jet with their lay over in India. It is a common practice and as long as there are diplomatic relationships one can not stop a country from landing and can not kick them out.
The whole us versus them scenario has really harmed us. Pakistan has strong relations with Saudi Arabia, is working on strong relations with Iran, and you do not make relationships strong by telling others to stop dealing with India but improve your relationship to a level that you are more important than India or any other country for that matter.
Ps to all concerned the RAF is Royal air force in England not the Saudi air force, am seeing a lot of confusion.

Economic relationships are your right and even good for the region, but military pacts which directly affect Pakistan is an other story. I hope the difference is clear.
Exactly. This is a great excuse to liberate ourselves from the clutches of Wahabist school of thought. An excellent opportunity to use as a 'marketing leverage' to educate our stupid masses.
Stop stereotyping and try and understand Indian relations with Saudi are not something that should effect us as long as our relationships are intact

You find the same with Iranians cursing us because of the relations we have with Saudi Arabia. One must not take a few to represent the many, or else there have been some Iranians with very harsh views on Pakistan, yet I consider Iran a country which we can grow very cordial relations with.

Just reading (and into) the various comments appearing here; its important to remember that International Relations are not a 'zero-sum game'. There are short-term interests and there are long-term interests. India-KSA is an example of short-term interests just as Iran-India is an example of long-term interests.

Interestingly, Iran-KSA relations were rather different in the time of the Shah; again because of shared interests of two somewhat despotic regimes. That was a greater reason than the sectarian divide. Even the sectarian divide is one that is milked thoroughly for a power game of existential proportions.
What "Ummah" is there to be talked about ?
