Dear president Karzai & supporters,

i'll keep my message and logic brief for you today;

if you don't offer the Taliban a reasonable place in your government where they can have an actual say about matters that affect their native areas in Afghanistan, if you don't foster de-centralized rule (by the tribal leaders) where you can have different bylaws in different parts and cities and towns of your country, then you're setting your own country up for civil war or being kept under control by constant divide-and-conquer of Afghan tribes by a multitude of foreign powers (chaoticly conflicting interests, or interests that just "take" from Afghanistan from all directions).

Karzai, your tribe is relatively new, and _supported by the Americans_. You might not want to erode that support too soon man. Karzai, don't demand total control over your own country, your values are different from those in the tribal regions, and if you want peace and prosperity, allow those differences for the next few decades. Focus on a truely honest distribution (and useful use) of the income of your natural resources (including human services). Be sure not to let foreign powers drive divide-and-conquer wedges in your society by making one Afghan tribe more greedy when it comes to profit-spending.

What you're doing now, Karzai and staff, complaining to the Americans for any peace talks with the Taliban, in public, making a "scandal about this"..... it's not a scandal at all, it's the right thing to do. The americans know this, because all US states have state law and federal law. Look at the conflict currently in legalized wheed in the US; state law vs federal law. You might wanna look up plenty of examples of old cases of "small-regional law" vs "national law" in any country that's managed to deal with those kinds of situations and developments PEACEFULLY.

Good luck, Karzai and team. Please think carefully, I think i'm right on this one. Got a strong gut-instinct on it.

And eh, Taliban and other older tribes in Afghanistan; make sure you spend the money you get from the central government not on weapons or jihadist training camps, but on regional employment projects, peaceful small business projects, hospitals, schools for boys and girls (it would be acceptable to put boys in one school and girls in a school beyond walking distance away from any boys school as a compromise, for the next few decades at least), you can teach girls just good housekeeping and values from the Quran and Sharia you know.. really, Taliban, in exchange for all that national resource money you'd get from the Karzai tribe, you allow girls some form of locally-useful education until they're at least 16.
I suggest you take this warning seriously, because I'm keeping a track record of all the tribes in Afghanistan. I will remind you of any mistakes you and good advice you fail to try out.

I mean, statesmanship should be about securing the future for your country for the next 100 years. Not the next few months or time until next elections.

Karzai is no longer taking the role. America is not that stupid, they predict the future of Afghanistan by judging the Afghan National Army whereas their military capabilities is extremely poor and no match to the cavemen. America has no choice but to negotiate with the cavemen after the Taliban spokesperson Soheil refused to talk to the Afghan government calling them a 'puppet of America'. America had abondoned Karzai and wants negotiation with the cavemen before they take over. They expect two things from Taliban; first, to ensure Afghanistan is not the land for terrorist and to cut ties with al Qaeda. Second, to do a peace negotiation with worldwide and co'operate with them more often. What Taliban expect from US; hand over the Afghan prisoners from Guantanamo Bay, to sign a ceasefire and a complete withdrawal from Afghanistan.

US - Taliban peace negotiation completed.

Pakistan - Taliban peace negotiation incompleted.

That's what i'm expecting :lol:

what power base are we talking about. at best karzai is the 'mayor' of kabul and he never leaves his presidential palace. if he does it is with his mercenary guards besides him. only the US is 'propping' him up. he would have been long gone if it was otherwise - a foot note of history - at best.
