Give their link to me, I can probably get the video for free and taking a screenshot is not a issue at all no matter what.

It's not an online site.
It's just that their videos are available for purchase online and projects too.
I need those projects more than the video.

By the way, try Ant Video Downloader: Download videos from any website! - Ant.com too. After you install it you can download any darn video on the net and then play it back on your WMP or VLC etc where you can pause any time and take any number of video grabs to your heart's content!

I use cam studio recorder, see if thats helpful to record the video to your hard drive.

Pause the video... at the pic you want to capture n try again..(tht works for me).

It's not the usual video.
Unlike other videos this video disables the print screen function....for piracy reasons most probably.

Hell that snipping tool is working on my staad pro software ONLY and not on the video.As soon as I switch on the snipping tool...and click "new" it goes blank.
I even tried @arp2041 's idea of rerecording the video being played on screen using VLC...but the video turned out blank.
All this is happening because as soon as I switch on the training video,any software which can capture screen doesnt work. Ab kya karo??

its really not working...i need it.My presentation will go for a six if I cant sort this issue.I mean if i cant take the screen shots from that video then I will have to make hell lot of drawings ...the civil engineering kinda drawings. Uff!

option 1. the simplest way to get a screen-shot... darken the room, pause the video at the required moment... and take a photo from a camera, taking angle and distance into consideration... do this twice or thrice as practice... do the real thing for all needed screen-shots... transfer the photos to computer... use ms-paint or powerpoint ( best ) to cut out the edges... voila...

option 2. install and run the "file" program ( i gave link earlier ) with your video's path ( or name ) as input... the "file" program runs only in command prompt ( run box >> "cmd" )... find out the type of the video file... use a good video converter to convert said video to high quality video ( like wmv or mp4 )... run converted video in vlc... take screen-shots... voila...
