I Need help!!! :(

I think after so much hassle you should just ask them to stick it up !!!

I am gonna try my cannon to take the screen shots. I don't see any other option.

He said there's hardly any use because the training videos have been created using "all in one protector" (I'm dilettante...i don't understand much of these technical terms). And that even if I hack it I won't be able to see anything. :(

the creators of that "all in one protector" would never have thought of someone keeping a video/still camera in front of the monitor... :lol:

yes. To run Linux live cd in a office, you've to 1. download linux iso 2. use a software like Download and create a bootable live usb 3. restart pc! set BIOS/UEFI such that booting into Live usb Linux environment must be successful(F10 or F7 are some of the keys for listing boot options). and then searching for Linux video apps like totem,vlc, dragon player etc and figuring out taking screenshot..:o: It's a futile exercise if you've no time! Don't know if you've a friendly Linux geek out there!
I wont be allowed to install anything without admin's permission. :(
You can take snapshots from VLC itself. Run the video and take snapshots using VLC.
https://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation:Snapshots/
when i tried clicking using VLC, the take snap shot icon was hidden.As in even when I clicked it..it didnt work.

Dee, you have to play the video first. Then capture the snapshot from the menu. :P
I've tried that earlier.the video is blank...as in it records nothing from the training video because of DRM (digital rights management) issues.
The training video blocks anything which captures the screen.And also it uses "all in protector".
I've run out of options...canon might save my day.

LOL
i did...thats exactly the reason why they gave me online support when the software detected a change in the user login and stopped working.They had to reactivate it atleast 5 times on my system.But they are good with the support,they know their software is sensitive.I'm warned that I should not even copy paste it to another folder.Lolzz
I bought it from smart learning India.Yes its an Indian company...had it been a foreigner may be I would not have faced so many issues.
It costed me just Rs 4000 for these videos.

If all else fails, just set up a good monitor and record off of it with a digital recorder, and capture the audio via headphone leads. This always works and can deliver surprisingly good results given its simplicity.

I haven't gone through all the solutions presented but this should work.
1. Install Windows in virtual machine.
2. Play video in that VM
3. Take a screenshot in your host mahcine

i tried using using TEAMVIEWER software and tried to view the videos through a diff machine by accessing my system.But still it didnt work.
It has DRM- digital right management issue..

VM is far more different than team viewer. It is Virtualization. To video, it should just look like your host machine. DRM in VM will not have ability to block your host machine's capturing.

I need help guys!!!
I need to prepare a presentation from a video and it seems my PRINT SCREEN doesnt work while this video is on .
This video can not be played in any other windows media player/VLC media player etc, it belongs to another company and it runs on their software.In short they have disabled such a function for piracy reasons (I think)
Is there any way I can go around it and circumvent it?? :(

I tried googling it already but all in vain. :(

@jamahir @Jazzbot @SarthakGanguly @kurup @DRAY @arp2041 @Horus @Leader @Nova2
@OrionHunter @Armstrong @SpArK and others... :(

Try using Fraps it should be able to record everything you do in your desktop ...
