We don't we call them Shaheeds .. Even the tombs have shared written on the. N not a martyr .. Sometimes people use martyr infront on non Muslims who wouldn't know anything about shahadat,ghazi or mujahid concepts..

Shaheed never dies (Al-Quran) . One who gives ultimate sacrifice in the path of righteousness or Allahs path.

Mujahid .. One who struggles.

Jihad comes from the word jehd which means struggle..

Etc etc.. If you don't even believe in Islamic than why would you even use Islamic terms for your dead??

No idea, I gues some religons need humans to protect it, some don't, probably why there is no concept of martyrdom in Hinduism.

As far as martyrdom is concerned, you can be a martyr for your nation for you country, religion isn't the only driving force.

Dude , it does not matter what word we use , what matters more is that we have same feelings .

well there is word in Hindi for MARTYR which is हुतात्मा (Which literally means giving your soul ) . If you would read old text you will find the use of this word in context of martyr.

We do have Veergati, which translates into a concept similar to Shahadat or Martyrdom. The Indian Army traditionally had used Shaheed as the word to describe those who died in the line of duty. The practice has continued after independence, and is a very popular usage now. Veergati ko prapt hona is also used sometimes.
