Lets look at the bigger picture

PPP does not want operation done in Interior Sindh
MQM does not want operation done in urban Sindh
PMLN and others don't want operation done in Punjab
PTI is confused with dharna's and getting IK the PM seat

so unless Gen sb decides to shove a firm danda up the political infrastructure in form of a martial law the choices are limited and there are road blocks through out this operation

I see a strange coincidence - both Pak and Turkish folks want to rip these proxies, no matter where they come from and under whatever disguise, with bare hands!! Days of proxies are numbered...

And I see a stark difference between our Turkish brothers and us Pakistanis................. Turks united in millions to support democracy and Pakistanis if ever may unite in millions to get rid of democracy.

Unfortunately proxies in Pakistan are not going away unless democracy of Pakistan is hanged once again like 1971. terrorism isnt a something that will vanish overnight i understand this. And i know terrorism exists even among developed countries such as france and turkey. And i do realize that bolochistan is an unstable environment. However people try and claim raheel shareef is the answer when he isn't, hes eased some of the burden but thats about it. it will take many many years for this to disappear, its unfortunate stuff like this still happens. as soon as there some glimpse of hope something like quetta happens. I really want to see a prosperous pakistan but we need people who are leveled headed and understand the ground realities. since the peshawar school attacks they have been several highly noted terrorist attacks in pakistan the lahore bombings, peshawar university attacks, the bombing that killed the punjab minister, the bus attack in karachi where 50 people were gunned down, the attack on the PAF base were dozens lost there lives. People are living in denial if they think hes done a great job.

No matter how hard a Military Chief tries & how ruthless he is the best he can do is to control a rapidly deteriorating situation . Having done it & having enforced the will of the Govt he represents the next step is a civilian one.

Its for the Govt to address the grouse that leads to a bad situation.

Personally i feel he has done a good job, especially one need to Compare the state when he take over ...... bombings like quetta was a regular affair and after those actions one an easily assume that things are improved a lot...... But it is true that he may not be a superman as people assume him to be.... But he has done his job (thats what i feel when i look from a different country).....

IMHO OP is trying to say the obvious i.e. we as a nation are always looking for a messiah to come and do things for us. General Raheel Sharif has proved what he is capable of, there is no doubt about it, and OP is spot on that he alone cannot change everything. Its always will be a nation as a whole and different people taking different responsibilities to collectively change affairs of a country.

Gen Raheel is the best thing happened to Pakistan in a long time, he have remained committed to being a solider and nothing else and have led from the front in the fight against those elements who are out there to damage Pakistan.... PA reputation have been restored thanks to this guy.... now people have started believing in PA again which was not the case during the last 2 COAS era..... He did what other failed to do.... took the fight to them who were hell bound of destroying Pakistan.......
