What's new

i dont think general shareef is everything ppl make him out to be.

There is No guarentee ; it all depends on the individual concerned

For example General Musharaf tried to control the extremists

But General Kayani changed his policies

Gen Kayani did what was feasible during that period above all it depends on determination of the political leadership. After so many deadly and brutal attacks specially Army Public School Peshawar the Pakistani political leadership woke up. The army is tied simple as that. if civilian leadership is determined then next chief will be doing what Raheel is doing

RS has reduced it considerably. No ones saying terrorism is no more in Pakistan. There is still lots of work to be done. Hopefully the next COAS continues his work.

.
You what? 2009-2012 these were the worst years for us these types of attacks will happen because these cowards and their masters can now only kill soft targets R.S is doing a great job the terrorism has been reduced significantly thanks to ZAB the only problem is he's not catching the big thugs in our country

They are trying to disturb the peace pakistan has generally been quiet on the terror front for the last 2 years or so other than occasional incident. We need to build more gates on the Balochistan/Afghanistan border and mine it launch targeted airstrike on terror camps in afghanistan we need to show pakistan is not afraid of them and will get justice. Every city should be on high alert and every terrorist/target killer caught must be executed immediately .

terrorism isnt a something that will vanish overnight i understand this. And i know terrorism exists even among developed countries such as france and turkey. And i do realize that bolochistan is an unstable environment. However people try and claim raheel shareef is the answer when he isn't, hes eased some of the burden but thats about it. it will take many many years for this to disappear, its unfortunate stuff like this still happens. as soon as there some glimpse of hope something like quetta happens. I really want to see a prosperous pakistan but we need people who are leveled headed and understand the ground realities. since the peshawar school attacks they have been several highly noted terrorist attacks in pakistan the lahore bombings, peshawar university attacks, the bombing that killed the punjab minister, the bus attack in karachi where 50 people were gunned down, the attack on the PAF base were dozens lost there lives. People are living in denial if they think hes done a great job.

good job , you have pulled off being in disguise for quite long

.
Pakistan biggest problem is not terrorist but our leaders who support them from behind as simple as this get rid of them you have better Pakistan

.
There too many reason Raheel is Best COAS of Pakistan Army History
One Side he is controlling Terrorists by Zarb e Azab Operation on other hand he is also controlling CPEC completion and security which is challenged by our Rival. He is not under influence of any political party, he is a man behind arrestation of big corrupt political leader. He is man with great mind he is not only doing his job perfectly but also making good image of Army in eyes of nation by court marshal of corrupt Soldiers. He is most powerful man of Islamic countries.

I see a strange coincidence - both Pak and Turkish folks want to rip these proxies, no matter where they come from and under whatever disguise, with bare hands!! Days of proxies are numbered...

Because both of these Muslim countries are developing. And they can't see it. InshAllah both Pakistan and Turkiye will only get stronger.

do you live in Pakistan
observed its political atmosphere lately
observed the long standing patches of peace
2008-2012 there was a bomb blast everyday
In the end
the heat of the fire is only felt when it lights ur own house

I call that not coincidence but destiny. IN SHA ALLAH both Pakistan and Turkey are bound to rise together and the time is not far away that both would be in position not only to watch each others backs but also the Muslim world in particular and world in general will hold both in high esteem.

it's your thinking keep it yourself...

terrorism has been reduced to quiet extent

in 2016 only 478 civilians + security personals have died while 650 insurgents killed
in 2015 1279 civilians + security personals have died while 2430 insurgents were killed

there will be major attacks in the result of the operation underway no one is saying that terrorism has been vanished from from Pakistan but declined 70%
Agreed but credit must be to institute not to one guy.

.
General Raheel has done an excellent job by taking on all the terrorist organisations and it is now up to the next chief to take this WOT to its logical end.

And you are from ?And how does it concern you ?

Credit must be given where it is due, IMO if it wasn't for Gen RS we would still be having daily bombings, people would still be afraid to venture out, the bazaars would still be empty, economy would still be in turmoil and there would be no CPEC as no one would want to put their money in a building that is on fire.

So #ThankyouGeneralRaheelSharif
