terrorism isnt a something that will vanish overnight i understand this. And i know terrorism exists even among developed countries such as france and turkey. And i do realize that bolochistan is an unstable environment. However people try and claim raheel shareef is the answer when he isn't, hes eased some of the burden but thats about it. it will take many many years for this to disappear, its unfortunate stuff like this still happens. as soon as there some glimpse of hope something like quetta happens. I really want to see a prosperous pakistan but we need people who are leveled headed and understand the ground realities. since the peshawar school attacks they have been several highly noted terrorist attacks in pakistan the lahore bombings, peshawar university attacks, the bombing that killed the punjab minister, the bus attack in karachi where 50 people were gunned down, the attack on the PAF base were dozens lost there lives. People are living in denial if they think hes done a great job.

Compared to last few years we are living in a heaven. Terrorists are now picking soft targets such as hospitals which shows they dont have power or resource to carry out any sophisticated attacks. General Raheel would have wipped out this menace if not for the Political hurdles by PPP and PMLN.

in 2016 only 478 civilians + security personals have died while 650 insurgents killed
in 2015 1279 civilians + security personals have died while 2430 insurgents were killed

there will be major attacks in the result of the operation underway no one is saying that terrorism has been vanished from from Pakistan but declined 70%

He has done a commendable job. His only short coming is his dealings with crooks that are ruling Pakistan. He doesn't come across as decisive against these leeches which are sucking Pakistan from within. He may have his reasons but when he retires, I would like to see someone who is an absolute bulldozer type of guy, with no non sense approach. Seems U have totally neglected the very recent history when there were blasts and non stop killings all over the Pakistan. Compare that time to this one. The incidents U mentioned were totally expected as few of them were blow back of ops Zarb-e-Azb while other are retaliation to CPEC and our stand regarding Kashmir. If we follow by your definition then we see more attacks/failures in just few years of BJP then to almost complete last tenure of Congress. So is Mr Modi a failure? Right now we are having most issues in Balochistan in general and Quetta in particular and for that we are sealing our border with Afghanistan whether anyone likes it or not. Nonetheless we are happy with him and dont see at what others think about him. After all he has taken a fist much needed major step for long and durable peace in Pakistan.

Since Raheel Shareef has taken charge attacks have reduced by 80 %. Yes he is not GOD nor Pakistan is a super power still we are doing brilliant job. Hundreds of these kind of attacks are foiled. Several on daily bases. @thrilainmanila inmanila

The terrorist attacks inside Pakistan are planned instigated from Afghanistan(APS attack and so many others) facilitated by RAW and afghan Intelligence, how else you think? Whole fata is occupied with Military.
Its a proxy war nothing else.
As far as Raheel shareef goes,hes doing a great Job,and he has nothing to do with eradicating Terrorism completely And every Pakistani knows that,Its a war that Every Pakistani will fight and triumph
Its the Job of every Pakistani.

it takes some time for security forces to turn the tide.. pak army was not used to large scale terror before that.. also possibly rahil enjoys close support from sharif brothers, compared to his predecessors, which gives him a free hand.
