@MH.Yang There are drugs in China? Is it easy buy drugs?
Chinese young people take drugs or drink alcohol commonly?
There is a high amount people jailed by drug traffic? and are hard the fines by drugs consumption/traffic?
Chinese law expressly stipulates that smuggling and trafficking more than 50g of heroin, or more than 50g of methamphetamine, or more than 1000g of opium, or more than 15kg of marijuana will be sentenced to death.
Because of the Opium War, the Chinese government and Chinese people had a low tolerance for drug crimes.
China has drugs, but it is difficult to buy drugs. Drug trafficking is a serious crime in China. China executes about 3000 death penalty prisoners every year, of which 50+% are drug trafficking crimes. On June 26 every year, all death penalty drug traffickers will be executed. So the drug dealers are so hidden that it's hard for you to find them. In China, drug addicts are detained for 15 days and given compulsory treatment for three months. Repeated drug abuse will be detained for 37 days and forced detoxification for 6 months. In China, 100000 to 300000 CNY ($16000 to $47000)will be awarded for reporting drug traffickers and 1000 CNY for reporting drug users. Even after successful detoxification, the criminal record of drug addicts is not allowed to be eliminated for life. When drug addicts enter other cities, hotels or important festivals, local public security personnel will do drug inspection.
BTW: Foreigners entering China must carefully check their belongings. Many foreign goods contain marijuana, which is illegal in China and may lead to your arrest when you get off the plane. There are drug dealers or your enemies hiding drugs in your luggage, which may even lead to your death sentence. In recent years, dozens of foreigners have been executed for drug trafficking. Americans, Britons, Canadians, Japanese, no govt can rescue drug traffickers from the Chinese govt.
Chinese people drink 7 litres per capita, 40% of them are beer and 60% are baijiu. In the WHO Global drinking ranking, Chinese people don't drink much, which is lower than the average level. There are many drinkers in northern China, and few drinkers in the south.
If they make their mark in the Asian games then China can guarantee its spot in the intl cricket. They should start training on the PSL with Pakistani players or in the Pakistani under 19 league. I know Chinese people since I've been working with them. They will either NOT take on a challenge or they will master that challenge...no 3rd option in between.
For the Chinese, this is a movement from zero. China needs Pakistan's help, otherwise the development of the sport will be very slow.
